- The need to expand your services is important if you are a Barber or a stylist. Estheticians and skin specialists already use this type of treatment for skin resurfacing, skin tightening or facial rejuvenation.
The dermatologist may stop at only cortisol shots and topicals.

Good morning we're available anytime. Our information is contained in the link description
Bless you. I'm coming to see you
Rashidah libra we will be here.
Thanks for your video. Please could you tell me how many minutes each treatment took and how often you should do it. Is it possible to over do it? Lastly, can it be done without the scalp ointment? Thanks.
Many thanks for your reply. I had a quick look at the treatments listed on your website. Can I ask what treatments you recommend specifically for scarring alopecia (I have FFA)?
Yes, I purchased a D'arsonval. I used it for the first time yesterday (10mins front hairline only, lowest setting). I used a slightly smaller attachment to the one in your video to try and get into the partings of my hair. My concern is that I did not get any immediate relief from the FFA irritation. Also, the metallic smell and taste has followed me around since! I did not use any ointments/lotions prior. I aim to use it weekly, as you advised.
I recently spoke to my dermatologist about high-frequency devices for scarring alopecia and he was very concerned that such a device will prolong the alopecia, i.e. keep it active for a longer period of time. Based on this, can I respectfully ask where you got the idea to use the d'arsonval device? Is it common practice in the US? I have seen it advertised for general scalp 'health' but never, specifically, for scarring alopecia. I should mention that, in the UK, we are not particularly forward with alopecia treatments, other than immunosuppressants and topical steroids - both of which I am prescribed (in response to your previous post). [BTW: Is L-Tyrosine a topical product or an oral
supplement? I have recently started on curcumin & piperine supplements, which I believe are helping.]
You mentioned anti-inflammatories in your last comment. Can I ask which ones you recommend, so I might suggest them to my dermatologist? From what I have read, L-Tyrosine effects hormones and neuro-transmitters, so it is more suited to menopausal women. FYI: I am 40 [female]. The average age for FFA is mid 50s, so maybe you thought I was older? With regard to the d'arsonval, I am now certain that it works better over some type of ointment to conduct the current [as in your video]. Please could you advise me what ointment to use.
I don't want to take up too much more of your time, but I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the help and advice you have given me. Scarring alopecia is a nasty, heart-wrenching disease. It is very comforting to know that there are people out there, like yourself, who genuinely care and are willing to give free and helpful support.
What is thst treatment called? I have an old fashioned scalp massager that looks similar to the apparatus you were using at the end of this video. What is your contact information?
Contact info is in the description link.
Our contact info is in the link description. We hope to hear from you soon
The high frequency device she’s using is called the violet ray.
Do you have any updates of your clients condition? That would be very helpful as I own a high frequency comb and haven't used it in years. I'm currently dealing with hair loss over 50% of my scalp and have tried just about everything except for this. Maybe I'll break it back out again. Thank you for this video.
Good day that client still comes in for monthly treatment we were able to restore 50% of her loss. We use this as a multi-layered source of treatment. If you haven't trichologist's in your area you should ask them about treatment because that is not the only thing that will restore it Ccca based on so many factors
I left a reply but unsure if it's in the right place
I totally agree. !!!!
Celeste... I recognize your name. I think I follow you on social media. Are you a stylist as well? 🤔🤔
Can you give me of the tricologist in Cincinnati Ohio.
Dayton Trichology, Dr. Gullette
Was there any regrowth? Curious because I have the same condition as your client at the end of the video.
No, she started showing improvement and then she got off schedule....she does not come often enough and continues to place sew-in weaves on her scalp, and wigs and does not care for it. Scalps like hers and possibly yours needs regular care and maintenance. It cannot be covered. It must be cared for often. Please let me know if I can be of assistance
@@SBLHairloss I was recommended oral minoxidil and laser therapy by a hair restoration specialist. Any thoughts on the efficacy of that combination? Maybe I can sign up on your site for a consultation. Wouldn't hurt to hear another opinion.
