The pastrami sandwich (#19) looked unbelievable! Langers definitely does not skimp on the meat. $24 does seem expensive for a sandwich though. If the minimum wage is $15 in Los Angeles County, how can minimum wage workers ever afford to eat here? Thanks Lisa for acknowledging that the price is steep. You always keep it real.
Yeah those sammies were $18 less than 2 yrs ago. The portions are huge.

Well, same could be said about sneakers, clothing, cars, etc. How can minimum wage workers afford $400 sneakers?
Katz's gives you a literal pound of meat on every sandwich, Langer's does not. Regardless how good either pastrami is. Langer's sandwich is $22-24 while Katz's is $26 last I checked. But you get way, way more meat on Katz's and I find Katz's pastrami is better anyways. You can't go wrong with either mind you, but for the money, you definitely get your money's worth at Katz's.
You two have become my wife and I’s favorite UA-camrs. Content is always great and we get excited when we see a new upload.

When I used to work in DTLA I would walk two miles each way every so often to eat at Langer's. I would not order the #19 but get the Pastrami only, I loved the meat so much I don't want anything but the Pastrami it's so good.
I also ran into and met Albert Brooks down there.

I honestly don't think that you'll ever go wrong eating Hot pastrami sandwiches! I fell in love with this sandwich back in 1889 when I first tried it at Togo's sandwiches in Dublin California with my nephew...
If you two ever decide to visit Montreal in Canada, you need to visit the famous Schwartz‘s Deli and try their legendary Smoke Meat sandwiches?

Went there several years ago. It’s expensive but definitely worth it!! I can’t wait to go back! I’ve been trying to find a pastrami sandwich as good as this in my hometown (Las Vegas). I’ve been to so many delis but Langer’s is so tender and juicy!!! If you’re in LA give it a try. You won’t be disappointed!

The #19 is the one always advertised on LA radio(especially sports radio). I need to make a trip to both places next season now that the Covid chaos is over! That Tiger Tail looks delicious!

I can't believe there is a donut man downtown. I saw it on a list of donut places once and went to try it one day but I drove all the way out to glendora or something lol
Katz’s and Second avenue deli get all the love, but Sarge’s is worth a try next time you guys are in nyc. I also enjoyed Langer’s. I love my Jewish delis!
I’m back. Still say New York Deli here in Torrance is a must too. Those triple sandwiches are unmatched. Lines always long when I go by Langers so I never bother to try to get in.

Thanks to your recommendation I recently went to langer’s deli after a hike, and I’ll admit, I was a lil underwhelmed by the service and a lil unprepared for the prices, but man oh man, the second that #19 hit my mouth I was in love. I can’t wait to go back.

Perfect connoisseurs! Exceptional review on the famous pastrami rye! My cousin is the pastrami lover, but I have to say, Lisa’s corn beef sauerkraut looked amazing and on behalf of my mother who loved her corn beef and sauerkraut, I’d have to try it in her honor! Especially if it’s a Michelin rating deli! Ok, but I have to say it will definitely go with a side of that hearty delicious chili cheese fries! I think this will be my go to plane ride meal when I leave for Hawaii next month!😉🤙🏽Mahalo!

Those donuts look sooo good! I have a recommendation for you guys. I went to the Windmill Food Hall in Carlsbad today and it is so awesome! Great variety of food, super fun vibe and honestly the prices aren’t bad at all! I think you guys would love it!
