Hi Lou, I love your homemade furniture and your cakes. Look good enough to eat. You made reference to Its A Small World, well when my kids were small we came home for Xmas one year (was living in Bega at the time) and my sister took us to Its a Small World. I was in awe, I just loved it. Last year my daughter came up from Donnybrook with her kids and I was racking my brain where to take them. I saw there was a miniature shop fairly close by so off we went. Lo and behold it was the same lady from Its A Small World. She retired many years ago but got bored so decided to open a small shop. She has made a huge dollhouse (must be 12 feet long and 6 feet high, that may be a bit of an exaggeration but pretty close) and double sided. Wow. From that moment I was hooked again. Bought my first dollhouse, which am embarrassed to say is still in the box. Am retired so have all the time in the world yet life seems to take over and there is always something to do and my hobby is pushed to the side. Heaven knows how I coped working and doing all the chores as well. Guess we slow down a bit as we get older. Lol. Sorry about the rant but thought you might be interested being an ex local. There really are no other miniature shops in WA that I know of. I must head to her shop again and see what she is up to. Love watching your videos and haven’t come across your food tutorials yet. Looking forward to that. Working through them slowly. Take care. Cheers Robyn ❤😊
Hi Robyn, oh how cool! It definitely is a small world 😂 I think I was around 8 or 10 when I went there with my mum, I dont remember much of the displays but I absolutely adored the little shop. I remember being in total awe realizing I could actually own some of the tiny things! I bought a realistic miniature black kettle made out of metal and I thought it was the most amazing thing ever! Such a magical place!
Girl, the second you mentioned Littlest Pet Shop, I knew that I have found my people! OBSESSED with all that mini furniture and everything you are doing!! 🩷
Me too! Miniatures are great that way. Making them makes me happy and relaxed and if I can't make them, I enjoy seeing what other people make! It is like escaping to a tiny magical miniature world!
I love minis when you can open them and find special things inside. Little cupboards with tiny drawers that open and have tiny things in. Your house is amazing and has so many nooks and crannies. Love it x
That fireplace out of a picture frame is genius! I'm going to try that sometime. I also like looking at things and thinking:what does this remind me of and what can I make from it. I've made lots of things from jewelry findings and I'll also wander thru the hardware store and get ideas from repair items and nuts and bolts. Your food items you make are fantastic.
I had a chintzy flat doll house with several rooms, walls had scene panels, no furniture and the figures had a magnet that you could shuffle them around with with magnetized stick. I wasn’t into anything more elaborate like dollhouses today scared I’d lose pieces. But am so fascinated with modern dollhouses, furniture that comes with it or is made by artsy people. Miniature animals, miniature anything I love. It’s a great addiction. I’m obsessed with laser cut wooden flat animals, animal stickers big, small, flat, raised like my turtles, ribbon, beaded borders for my hobby art. And of course I’m obsessed with watching other artists doing their thing who are gold mines of new ideas to try.
I adore this. I would absolutely love a project like this. now all I need is an entire additional room and some money 😅 as soon as you showed the little flowers I thought of Kate & Fleur 💛 so cute
What a wonderful doll house. You are so lucky to have all those assessories as well. I purchased a The Garfield House, which is the largest doll house Greenfield makes from a second hand store.. It is in shabby shape and was made with hot glue which is coming apart on the upper floors. I have loved miniatures all my life but could never afford a big house to play with. I also adore Kit and Caboodlers. Kate and Fleur are so delightful. I have Subscribed to your channel and hope to get many ideas on how to rebuild my doll house and furnish it in style.
Hi there. I'm new to your channel and to the dolls/miniature world. It was fun seeing all the goodies that came with your dolls house but your own creations outshine them by miles! I'm looking forward to learning from you 😊
You are very talented, well done. I am doing my smallest project to date at present. It's my meditation 🧘♀️ . Thank you for sharing your skills as a miniturist 💖
That desk you were showing looks a lot like my uncle’s though both sides just have the drawers and darker but other than that very similar. That round table you showed? I have that exact table in my dining room I use as an art table.
I loved miniatures from Rankin Bass Christmas shows. And you are right, the Beatrix Potter story with the mice trying to eat the plastic furniture. Very happy I found your channel❤
I did enjoy this video! Your miniature food looked really delicious and the tiny, tiny baking embellishments were adorable. Placing your dollshouse on a turntable was a great idea. Good luck to you as you set up your business, and I look forward to seeing more of your creations and how the renovation progresses.
Love , love love, this video....the house, furniture.....and oooh the miniatures. Such fantastic miniatures. What treasures. Your handmade skills are amazing! and then mentioned the flowers Kate and Fleur would love, I totally agree. Can't wait to see more of your videos.

Thank you. I'm planing on starting the dollhouse renovation in March. I haven't quite figured out how to go about it and if I should film room by room or work on the whole house at once, it's a bit overwhelming to be honest 😂 I haven't worked on a project that big before!
Thank you 😊 I don't have a tutorial on those sorry, I made them before I started my UA-cam channel. I will be making more beds though for one of my dollhouse projects in the future!

Something about that tiny desk with pull out drawers and tiny china cabinet made me incredibly happy.

Love your nails
Thank you I totally enjoyed this. They say people who love miniatures, are people who love to be in control, I'm o.k.with that?
What architectural style is your doll house out of curiosity?
I'm not entirely sure! But to me it looks like Second Empire Victorian.
@@miniatureaddictionclub thanks!
Ha ha thought you were going to say the blue and white piggy bank was coming my way!!!!! Enjoyed this episode, you have a heap of work to do, it's going to keep you very busy !! XX
Where did you find your doll house with all these boxes of tiny minatures??
Hi, I got them from an online second hand auction a few years ago 🙂
Gorgeous :)
You are incredibly talented and creative, and oh my, what a score on the house and alllll those miniatures! If you're ever looking to sell the postcard souvenir book and/or photo album, please let me know. ;)
i bought something from her miniature collection before haha
Que lindo e voce mesma quem faz tudo isso
No she was given that haul
all that furniture alone costs a fortune, my gosh.
You are very talented and got so many treasures when you bought the house. I love the things you make yourself, especially the miniature food items. But it bothers me that your nails don't fit you. It would be nicer when doing hand closeups to have better nails. Actually, your own nails look much better than the fake ones.
Thanks so much! Glad you like my food items, I hope to make a lot more food tutorials in the future!
