      Mohammed Novalija Thanks Mohammed, I do enjoy sharing my experiences, especially passing on a little of what I’ve learnt over the years. So many people get caught up in how big the gold is, this video has taught me that many appreciate the skill and sense of achieve in finding small bits in heavily hit ground. Thanks again for your comments. :)

    Love the vid! Thanks for that!!
    We've been out on 5 trips now, twice with support and training from experts and 3 times alone. With support we were able to find some small gold, but when alone we still struggle to select the right spot to detect on (in known gold producing areas). We find a lot of rubbish and lead shot but no gold so far.
    This videos give some clue on how to select your area which I love. Would love to see more on that! We use an SDC2300.

      Jori Thanks :) it takes time to consistently find gold. What you don’t see in my videos is the days or weeks I sometimes go without gold. It all pays off when suddenly out of the junk comes a nice piece. Or better still you find a patch. Many people give up before the point where they gain the confidence to thoroughly detect an area where they are confident gold SHOULD be. I am very big on looking for the signs of gold by observing the ground and any old workings. Once I am confident that all the signs are right I go over every square inch in a small area and am more often than not successful. Hope this helps and keep watching :)

      Unfortunately detectors aren’t cheap. I did have a gold
      Monster for a while and in the right hands it will find gold. There are plenty of gold monster specific videos out there. Well worth a watch. Personally I would go for a second hand early series GPX detector if your on a budget.

    • @BKGoldDetecting
      @BKGoldDetecting  4 роки тому +3

      Paul Lake Hi Paul, in my experience the best way to get your first nugget is to pick a small area and go over it thoroughly. Walking around is often non productive as it’s very easy to walk corridors that others have walked. I rarely go out without finding at least a few small ones by going over every inch of an area that should contain gold. Watch for more videos soon that will hopefully help.

    • @BKGoldDetecting
      @BKGoldDetecting  2 роки тому

      Like any hobby the person who sells the equipment makes money… the boat you buy for fishing, the caravan you buy for camping, the golf clubs for golf. I’ve had immense pleasure for many years out of the $10,000 I spent on my detector. The difference is I do pay for my fuel plus more, I never catch enough fish to pay the fuel for my boat. But then I’m a lousy fisherman. :)
