Absolutely love, love,love Daytona. I'm from the UK & have been coming to Florida as a family since 1997 ( our 1st trip). My husband is into cars & and bikes, so this was a must do on our 1st trip. Stayed 3 nights, went to the race track & just enjoyed the peaceful & laid back down time in the middle of a hectic 2 weeks of theme parks. Since then we have visited Daytona for a few nights stay everytime we come on holidays, it's a must for us now. Been to bike week twice too. Seen a lot of change there too, some good, some not so good, places closed down (the Black Sheep Pub😢😭) some new open. Last time we were there was March last year & and it was heartbreaking to see the damage left to some places after the hurricane & tropical storm straight after each other. Just like in 99. In 97, the pier was twice as long with a cable car on it. My kids rode it, came back in Feb 99 & it was gone, sadly it was damaged in a hurricane a few months before. Daytona really is a beautiful place & it's our most favourite place to visit & can't wait for our next visit in October.

You should see how it's grown over by the race track and off of LPGA.
I still prefer Hallandale Beach Florida more it’s a beautiful city with a growing communities and businesses and a good nightlife.🇺🇸❤
