The Motorcycles are astounding a tough act to follow very nice in everyway , I miss being there alot , I miss the salt water taffy , the boardwalk , the pier , total experince of it all .
There was a daytime bar at the corner of the worlds most famous beach entrance back in the 80' s called Ko ko mo' s I hope that was the name ,it was just across from the boardwalk and before you would walk onto the pier , it appears it's no longer there it was sitting where the fountain splash is in the video
The best thing I did was leave this city its nothing to do boring no jobs , I live in Hallandale Beach which is next Miami and Hollywood Beach the night life is amazing and its always some were to go and enjoy yourself

It's a decent beach and Daytona is a decent town to vacation in... but it's certainly not the most "world famous" as the sign states or the best. Beaches in Brazil, Mexico, Hawaii, California are far more popular. Daytona is well known for its Nascar speedway, not the beach per se. The sign claiming that is like a person who says they're funny... if you're funny you don't need to say you are. Love Daytona, that sign just irritates me as it sounds conceited.

My favorite place where I have lived - 1986 to 1993
