Also, did they go through the arduous process of learning Italian in the States or while they were in Lecce? It would be interesting to do a video on their Ex Pat journey, as many folks are looking to do the same...me included.

You are correct when you say those items cost 300% to 400% more in the U.S. than in Italy. That's actually accurate. It's not what some analysts etc. say, 20% or so. Nonsense. On some things that may be, but for normal daily living items, it's what you see. You are in Lecce, so it's slightly more expensive generally in the north, but still not compared to the U.S. Alot of countries have lesser costs than in the U.S., but how is the quality and abundance? In Italy the quality is the highest of anyplace. It's the food haven of the world.

I love all of our products here in Italy. Been here 23 years. Never going back to USA.
