Looks like i used those same housing for a Morimoto MLED retrofit about 2months ago. Had Morimoto LED bulbs that had the cutoff sheild, they were brighter but the retrofit made it brighter than my 3rd gen taco.
Nah, buy some auxito LED bulbs and aim them right. You won't blind other drivers. As you can see on the new headlights, they don't have those refracting lines.
