    Thank goodness it says microphone on the side or otherwise I might have mistaken it for a cheese sandwich.

    Damn dude I literally just saw this microphone on Amazon and thought "let's see if Bandrew has reviewed it" and boom you upload this. Are you a damn magician?

    • @Relent
      @Relent 6 років тому +2

      Plot twist; you're a magician and you did this on purpose so everyone will blame bandrew and you can cover it

    Personally prefer my Behringer XM8500, but using these at a local karaoke night, I can attest they aren't a bad choice for said function. As long as you don't expect SM58 quality, you won't be disappointed.

    I'd still go for a xm8500. Better build quality, mic clip, and switches generally add an annoying complication.

    I think the only thing making this mic bearable is the focusrite 2i2 preamp ..., but as it's a $20 mic why not put it through something cheaper like direct into a pc jack with the +20db active I'm guessing that someone looking at a mic like this is probably planning on using it that way.

    • @RingoYote

  • @luckymeyt
    @luckymeyt 6 років тому +1

    Oh come on what is the probability that someone is going to have $100+ for a audio interface with a $20 mic, 90% of the time they would use a USB interface or just plug it in the mic jack (that for anyone reading please buy an usb sound card, it is really worth the money)

    Wow sounds real nice for a mike that only hears up to 12 KHZ.

    • @Podcastage
      @Podcastage  6 років тому

      I would not believe that spec at all.

    • @hamitcampos4989
      @hamitcampos4989 6 років тому

      Yeah maybe not. Who knows by the way who's wrong. Amazon isn't exactly a microphone company. So they may not know. Also who knows why Tonar didn't lay the specks out. This ain't the first time this happens. There are omni condencers called little blondies. Yeah puts a smile on my face that name it does. But in any event yes 1 knows they're omni, obviously 1 also knows the power thing. But No SPL, I think no self noise mesurment, and no frequency response speck either. I couldn't really tell as mostly I've heard speech on them.

    • @czdaniel1
      @czdaniel1 6 років тому

      +Hamit Campos -- The mic actually does 20kHz very well, but they nerf to 12 so you will buy the DLC drivers once you get home if you wanna hear all 20khz

    • @MrHamit64
      @MrHamit64 6 років тому

      Ah 20 K. That makes more sence. What ya mean by DLC drivers? Are there other capsels for this mike? or do you mean software?

  • @Car_Ram_Rod
    @Car_Ram_Rod 6 років тому

    That look of disappointment when your like i throw like a girl. I wanna see bandrew go crazy over stickers...ALL STICKERS AND NO MICROPHONE MAKES BANDREW A DULL BOY!!! Also, I think you should have added more G chords on the acoustic.

  • @RingoYote
    @RingoYote 6 років тому

    This is very very bad..looks like a toy mic they ship with Rockband, which ironically that mic is a USB plug and play and I know a few twitch streamers who keep them as backup mics

  • @CBRadiouk1

    For voice I reckon the mike sounded ok.
    ANYONE ELSE???

  • @ajaypratapsingh4781
    @ajaypratapsingh4781 6 років тому

    Why do tonor even create mics when they even don't know the specs

    • @Podcastage
      @Podcastage  6 років тому +2

      They figure to buy some mic another company made, and then put as many incorrect specs in the listing. That way if someone wants an omnidirectional mic, they may buy it, if they want a super cardioid mic, they may buy it, or if they want a cardioid mic, the customer may buy it.
