Hi kaz, i like your new content. Make me looking forward to your new video 😆 Been watching your videos for sometimes and would like to thank you for potrays Malaysia in a good way.
On being punctual, it also depends on what context you’re in and who you’re with. Some Malaysians can be very punctual even for social gatherings and they get annoyed if you’re even five minutes late. You may risk getting a serious scolding. We can be punctual when we want to, e.g. going to the movies, or going for dinner or a sports game at a pre-booked time. But most times we’re just lazy, unprofessional or apathetic, e.g. being late for wedding dinners, or like your plumber showing up after two hours. Really there’s no excuse for that.
This is good concept actually..enjoying local food with different people from different country..simply talking about experience in Malaysia from different perspective..
Kaz, thats why there are many viral videos online of malaysians either getting very angry, or getting super annoyed etc, because we have to deal with a lot of nonsense like not being punctual, actually its common also that they just dont show up

I think there are also several races in the Philippines but perhaps the other races are really in the minority, maybe less than 10%. Just like in Indonesia and these minorities have assimilated more completely with the majority. For example, the Chinese in Indonesia have Indonesian sounding names instead of Chinese names. The “minorities” in Malaysia are bigger in number and there is perhaps this reluctance to assimilate so totally. It could also be due to the Islamic Law (that is being practiced much more effectively in Malaysia as compared with other countries) that requires a non Muslim to convert to Islam before they can marry a Muslim. This could be another reason as to why you still don’t see interracial marriages that often here even after almost 65 years of independence, and therefore the “races” still do not mix and are pretty much still heterogeneous. You can put oil and water in a container, they don’t explode when they come together but they just stay separate quietly.

Japan is island nation, so you guys have a "do whatever it takes to survive" mentality, always think that others around you are your rivals/enemies, always feel threatened and oblivious about other peoples. It is because you have no where to go, in order to expand you have to invade other people's lands. islands don't have a lot of resources compared to mainland. All island people have the same mentality like Britain and Indonesia. Mainland people are more relaxed as if there is not much things to think about, because the land is bigger than the islands, there are a lot of room to move around and a lot of room to grow, which means there are a lot of survival options. Mainland people don't need to be super efficient in anything and don't need to always be aggressive toward neighbors because resources are easily to get by diplomacy and trade. So this is the reason that shape our cultures and it is true around the world.

"Malaysian time", your perspective is not wrong🤣, but in my perspective, in my personal perspective ok mostly like in my environment when you are in age around 30 or 30++, we already married and have kids, like 1 kid or 2 or 3, some advance got 4. Well, with kids even we wake up early, there is usualy drama sending kids to school, no joke🤣🤣🤣. kids crying, traffic jam and stuffs. So bosses have that problem and workers face the same thing with kids. So, thats is how we get the understanding, kids will be kids, drama. Then, finish work immediately have to go to daycare, every 30 minute late will cost more for the parent. Kids will complain, if parent being late. Well...hahaha

I think you misunderstand. Initially they plan to have nasi dagang since this place is famous for its nasi dagang and nasi berlauk in the morning.but they came here late which is afternoon and they change their plan to try nasi sup daging bakar which is also very popular here around 12pm - 2 pm time. If you plan to have nasi berlauk or nasi dagang better come early around 7.30am to 9 am. This place is also closed on friday.hope this info helped.

The maintenance people is so not responsible . As malaysian i will what’s app few times if late for 2 hours. Yes we have “malaysian time”. I hope u can enjoy other state in malaysia and more laid back than kl. Good luck hehe

Nasi Sup Daging Bakar 😋
Kaz, please don't steal all the beautiful girls in Malaysia from us LOL
The lemons in your video are RM 8 for one kilogram..not for one unit 😅
I'm a punctual person too, and I Don't like.waiting, call the person you're waiting 30 minutes earlier, so he/ she won't be late!
KAZ you could do a video comparing nasi lemak in multiple shops and give your opinion on each place. Would love to see your take on this.
You can get Nasi Dagang Capitol from Damansara utama.
