I have a lawn service and switched out the 3 Redmax 8500 blowers we had to 3 Echo 8010’s last fall. What a difference our 8010’s have way more power. My buddy just bought the 9010 and said it has even more power…
Because of the fuel usage and extra weight it will not be my everyday blower. As of right now I do believe it is the most powerful backpack blower on the market. It makes leaf clean ups so much faster because of all of the power! I do highly recommend!
I love this blower! It's at least 2x faster than my Stihl BR 600 when it comes to leaf clean up. Like you said this, blower is only for leaf clean up or maybe blowing off a parking lot. It's a money maker for sure!
I have two issues with the 9010. First, what is that ring on the end of the tube for? Remove that piece and install the middle tube from an 8010. Several inches longer. Wife said extra length makes all the difference. Second they installed a connector between the belts but it does not help keep the belts on your shoulder. Best fix is to swap the top anchors l to r and the bottom anchors l to r. Now the belts cross behind your neck and no problem staying where they belong. As far as fuel consumption, hey it takes fuel to make power, you are getting more done in less time. That's the name of the game.
I never use the belt so I can’t speak on that, but I see your point. As far as the ring on the end of the tube, I think it’s there to make sure it keeps its shape. If you change the shape of the nozzle you change the cfm, volume and speed of the air moving through. I know on all of my Husqvarna blowers I end of squashing or screwing up the shape of the end nozzle somehow. Not sure of the 8010 design, but if it works and doesn’t bend that would be a better option in my opinion.
I have also reviewed a Husqvarna BT-150 Here. ua-cam.com/video/Z4VADpyDEJI/v-deo.html

I agree!

The end pipe on the 8010 is same as the 9010. Get the middle pipe from 8010 and replace the end pipe on the 9010. You'll see what i mean.
The steel ring is to prevent wear if the user drags the tube across the ground
@@biggdaddy018 its just excess weight on the far end of the tube. as i said i swapped the end tube out for the middle tube from an 8010.
Good Video 👍🏼
what about a kid that is 14 years old and is looking for a echo backpack blower what do u think is best for me
The 9010 is way too heavy for everyday use. I would get one with 500-700 cfm’s.
A pb580 , pb755 or pb770 will all work.
@@TheCrazyCaptain ok sound great thank you alot.
