- The WDR BIG BAND plays "Cute" (composer: Neal Hefti; arranger: Jörg Achim Keller). Solos are played by John Goldsby on bass, James Chirillo on guitar and Hans Dekker on drums. The WDR BIG BAND is conducted by Jörg Achim Keller. Produced as part of the WDR JAZZCLUB concert "Atomic Hefti" at the WDR Studios Bocklemünd / Cologne (October 2022).

You could still hear the melody through out Hans soloing.Great Great musicianship through this world class drummer.To see you enjoying yourself doing what your put on this earth to do, with this great band.A dream job for life I hope.I've moved to New Zealand from the uk,when is the band coming to NZ.Recently I went to Auckland only to miss Steve Gadd.Then playing 20 miles away was Peter Erskine,Gregg Bisonette and Dennis Chambers with a big band.So,please let me know when your coming.

Wow, as a drummer I thought I was in for a treat from world class drummer Hans on the traditional arrangement of cute and as it went on I thought its not going to be a drum feature but a band feature, and great playing from the band and THEN Hans.What a musical solo by this genius drummer and a brill ending.This band goes from strength to strength.GREAT.

Each time I hear this group I'm reminded of the "Tonight Show" orchestra, especially under 'Doc' Severinson. They have that same tight, swinging quality.

Nice arrangement! Great solos!! I'm not a drummer, but are those "skin" heads on his drums versus the plastic heads? Also, interesting grip Hans uses. The traditional grip, but at the back end of the stick rather than closer to the center.
