Use to see Paul quite a bit in Wakey late 90's. Use to hang around, quite often with a bottle of some god awful chemical cider like diamond white or frosty jacks. Was quite a sad site in the end, shadow of his former self.

@@DACHBO1 What actual boxing history does Bronson have? There's only one filmed fight of him which doesn't say very much at all. Sykes fought for the British heavyweight championship. If you can't see the difference you clearly know nothing about fighting.

@@penelopeoates511 there’s a big difference in a boxing fight and a fight on the prison floor you can take away Sykes’s range and height straight away because he isn’t going to get chance to use it. bronson will be on him within seconds holding in close, biting him head butting the lot hitting him with anything he can get his hands on.

It most ceartainly is not chaz talking,I would no as I visited him in Wakefield nick a few times.Sykes was a big lump very fit and athletic and commanded respect,that doesn’t take anything away from chaz as he is more than capable of looking after himself,as was Roy ,and Roy wasn’t very tall but very powerfully built and fast with his hands,a lovely fellow who I had also met on many occasions,a diamond geezer with a very big heart,in 2005 I was 6ft 2ins and weighed 27st, size means fk all when these chaps wanna rip ya head off !!

If you can't even win a British title how do you think you can cope at European level with some mad Turk or machine from Germany or Ukraine, let alone the cream of the American crop? This is directed at STELLA MONSTER . ROY SHAW openly admits that RON STANDER turned up with Broken ribs from a previous fight .Ron beckoned on Roy to hit him and make it look like a fight and give the fans something to watch......Roy was under no illusion he actually won the fight. It was just a set up show.....the words from Roy's mouth himself...

Shaw himself states that he threw the kitchen sink at Stander and Ron didn't seem bothered by his punches. Look at the punishment Frank Bruno took from Mike Tyson in two fights and he was only counted out, not knocked out. Pro boxers are animals and I laugh when I hear nerds goofing off about how hard the UFC lot are, let alone doormen and unlicensed fighters. Tyson Fury would destroy anybody you put in front of him.
