Sierra backpacking , base of Evolution, up to Sapphire Lake, Day 3 Aug 2024

I did the North Lake- South Lake loop through the Sierras. I dilly dallied and hiked slow and took it all in. 54 miles and 10k ft. I tried for 9 days but came out on 7. Oh well. This was day 3. I had camped at the base of all the switchbacks up to Evolution Meadow, along Evolution creek, up past Evolution Lake, to Evolution Basin, and camped at Sapphire Lake.
