@ apologies I should clarify I have not played the first game but have been interested in it for a while. However I’ve been hesitant because a lot of the discussion boards/comment sections discussing the game seem to say that it is primarily a DD combat simulator more than a narrative experience…would you say that’s accurate? Thank you for replying btw! :)
I stopped playing Solasta 1 because the game was too ugly! ^_^ They must have read my mind, I didn't even complain! Mmm.... I might check out Solasta2 then?! :O
I watched your entire play through on the first game. I look forward to this one too.
I can't wait!
Solasta 1 was a great game. But I hope they fix some multiplayer issues. Like, only one person can shop in a store at a time.
My only real gripe with Solasta was the few voice choices. It was all too easy to have all four party members with the same voice.
Budgets are a real thing. Rogue Trader is another example of an awesome game without a voice actor budget
I thought Solasta was great, goofy graphics not withstanding. Really tight mechanics and a fun tone... but yea the chars looked silly.
Right? Super groovy gameplay, really fun, but the character models eehhhhhh
Might this imply they’re planning to lean more into the narrative this time?
What are you referring to? They leaned plenty hard into the narrative during the first game
