I hope this video could give you real insight of what's really going on in Fukushima. Wish my best to everyone there. All the interviewees were so kind and sweet. What did you think after hearing these local people's opinion? If you were local there, how would you feel? Let me know.
Hiroko TV To begin with I would like to express my gratitude to your work. I have some questions about the aftermath of Tsunami as a foreigner. First, i would like to express my deepest condolences who lost their loved ones. I have been to Japan 3 times before Tsunami. I have itchy feet to visit again at the same time, i’m quite hesitated because of the radiation exposure. Read online that the government promoted the produces of Fukushima and the promoters who were known as popular japanese TV stars were diagnosed as thyroid cancer and some even passed away. I’ve been told that the produces of Fukushima (including japanese water) are circulating in the Market. Do the local people avoid eating it? According to one study, The disaster was way worse than Chernobyl. Yet the government doesnt seem to isolate the area which is hard to understand. Food Safety is a serious issue to the citizens. Do the government label the produce of origin even in English? In the interview, one lady said they always have their food checked before consuming. However, does this practice still apply for other regions? How do Japanese cope with the food safety issue?
I actually just went to Koriyama two weeks ago. Very quiet and pleasant city with wide roads. I never would've guessed it was so close to the disaster site.
Hiroko TV I remember that day. Soon after I went to my local Japanese Consulate in Sydney Australia with several pages of print outs of my recommendations of what *Non-Nuclear* renewable energy alternatives would be *Best* for their country to be powered by from now-on. Besides the instance that I haven't heard back from The Japanese government I agree *100%* with the businessman interviewed - The Japanese government *SHOULD* be telling not just the Japanese people everything that's going on with the Nuclear damage in that area but should *Also tell THE WHOLE WORLD* and tell every last embarrassing detail of the situation so every local and every tourists and person who's either part of the U.N. or a well-wishing outsider looking on from seeing it on the NEWS broadcast can educate themselves and *EVERYONE can work out how BEST deal with fixing this* . My heart goes out to the family of the girl who has been missing for 7 years. Maybe organizations like World Vision Australia should move into the area so struggling {farmer} families can be supported better and then maybe a trade deal can be reached between Australia and Japan for Australian *Fresh Milk* to be imported into Japan {for consumption, I've heard Japanese parents aren't willing to by local fresh milk for their children as they fear it's contaminated with radiation}. When I read in the subtitles that it looks like it'll take 30 to 50 years to completely clean up the radiation I was *SO SHOCKED* I let out an expletive. Wish Japan all success. 😲💔🍼🍶🍣🌏💸⚰☢ℹ🆘️🇦🇺🇯🇵🕯
When that man talked about that family losing their daughter and how 7 years later they’re still searching for her and how that reporter cried made me have tears in my eyes. Like wow your family loves you THAT much that they will never stop searching for you.

You are what you eat. Diet does matter and the better you eat the slower you age. My grandma lived just shy of 100 and really never ate junk food. I don't think she really wrinkled face wise until she was close to 90. My grandpa made it to 96 and remained slim his whole life.
to me she seemed like a typical middle aged woman. im not from japan but my mother is around 54 and she doesnt look like a granny but kinda like the woman in the video
I am 57 and some women in their 50s seem older while others do not. Not everyone ages at the same rate physically or mentally. I don't mean they act too young for their age like the are trying to relive their 20s but they enjoy life and they don't choose interests on what they think is age appropriate but by what they like. I personally like Korean kpop/rock and rap as well as Japanese rock so many times I am with people younger than myself with the same interests.
SW L The comments saying japanese goverment are exporting radioactive foods are false, they are chinese accounts, they are trying to make japan look bad.
In Fukushima melted reactor cores not stopped injecting radiation into the environment to this day. So the half life of the radioactive particles is an ongoing process, in Chernobyl we count half life from April-May 1986. In Fukushima every day a new start for deadly chemicals. Each week, another nail knocked in the coffin of the Pacific Ocean.
For 70 years they have dumped , exploded , burned and releaded on the same scale all around the world , eat well , live well be happy live love laugh . Good luck and live you are alive eh .
I was in 6th grade on March 11th, 2011. I was making something for graduation with a knife at an elementary school in Osaka. I felt sick when the earthquake happened. I didn’t know it was an earthquake, but our homeroom teacher thought it was alike the earthquake in Kobe which was happened in 1995 and turned on the TV in the room. It said a big earthquake happened, but at the moment, all of us in the room thought it was just an earthquake we always have had. I went to a dance class after school and came back home at like 7 pm, and when I turned on the TV, it had a small Japanese map on the corner of the screen and it said that people in certain areas had to evacuate. It was my first time to see Tsunami as far as I remembered. Every time I watched the TV, I found more and more people died. And terrible things just kept happening. Me and my friends wanted to do something, so we went to school early from the next morning and stood in the front of the gate of the school and collected the donations. It became 270,000 yen. It is small, but it made me thank every person and country that donated and supported Japan. I know there are some people hate Japan or Japanese people, but I want you to know that no life deserves death. Again, thanks for supporting and loving Japan♥️
Japan already has an increase in thyroid cancer, which is the first type of cancer to show after nuclear incidents. Solid mass tumours take up to 30 years to show, so until other nations start to see an increase in cancers our Governments aren’t saying a word. They will keep telling us it’s cigarettes and obesity that is killing us, but in truth it is something altogether more sinister The Cores are sitting in the ocean and there is nothing anyone can do to clean that up. It’s an impossible task. We just have to live with this tragedy and bare the consequences
Ph@tMantv - if you consider the reality of this disaster I’d say eat what you want, because we are all going to be affected and not just from sea food. Enjoy your life 🌈
I am really impressed and not just for the growth of Hiroko chan as a reporter but for all the information displayed; I didn't even know half of the things that they did such as the ways of cleaning the streets, the temporary houses and food testing. Definitely all my respect to Japan, in my opinión is the best country model to follow.
So hilarious that they all were talking about how safe it is and then they get asked "do you think the government is being transparent" and they're all like HELL NO 😂🤣😂😆LMFAO does no one else see how ironic that is?
american west coast is dying off.... and those people act their land is safe................... i dunno how much of a bigger example you can get of government brainwashing citizens.... its the same with the vaccinations happening actually... and chemtrails are just water vapor............ yeah right
The plane comparison is a bit daft, radiation is something which builds up over time. In the same way X-ray is safe in moderation, but you can't sustain that radiation for extended periods.
I have to say this is one of the best channels I've had the pleasure of finding. Insightful, informative, intelligent and respectful. This is so relevant with much to teach us about what is happening in Japan. Thank you for sharing to us in the US. I love that you cover such a variety of interesting news & culture. Keep it up!
in 2013, I spent half a month living in Soma and Fukushima City studying the disaster and doing service work for the people of Fukushima, and I don’t think I’m ever going to forget it. Everyone there has so much heart and it was really inspiring to see everyone doing their best. I ate their food, drank their water, went fishing and even ate fish caught off the coast, and I’m still here. I don’t have cancer and I’m not dying. This isn’t some nuclear wasteland or place out to poison people. These are people genuinely trying their best to live in a world that abandoned them.
Since they’ve tested radiation for everything, it seems ok to live there. But I think the radiation impact takes time, this means you can’t see it right now, after decades it will show up the effect slowly. Remember the WWII nuclear bomb had horrible impact on Hiroshima? After many years, they’ve found lots plants and animals gene had been changed, many of them had weird shapes and textures etc.
I second this. I had suspicions when one of the females said "The TV in Tokyo were saying stuff like "Get out of Fukushima immediately" whereas in Fukushima they reassured everyone saying it's ok". The government knows it fucked up but I just can't help shake off the feeling that they're lying about everything radiation-related like how it's safe and constantly tested so that there isn't a huge exodus which could potentially increase problems regarding housing and government funding.
As someone who lives in Iwaki, Fukushima before and years after this tragic event; I can attest that every statement given by the people on this video is true. I was one of the few foreigners that stayed. The time I had to evacuate was the morning after the first reactor blew. I went to Nasu, Tochigi with my church families and their children, while the men stayed to help distribute food and water to the city. It was sad, but in time the people really worked together to help one another. I stayed there almost 6 years after this happened and was blessed to be with the people there helping and continuing life there ❤️
That company and/or the government need to stop lying to these people. If they are being told and honestly think other countries have a higher radiation than Fukushima. Or that a plane radiation is more dangerous than LIVING in Fukushima or its surrounding areas.
Amazing video, such kind hearted people who I commend for being so strong throughout this time and remaining to stay positive~ Great job Hiroko! がんばって!
I still remember the day this happened. It was so surreal, like it wasn't actually happening but it was. So many lives were lost in the tsunami and towns were wiped out. Thank you for making this meaningful video asian boss. May those who lost loved ones and their homes be comforted and find hope.
Japan is the strongest. We survived Nukes, we survive repetitve natural disasters such as Earthquacks, Tsunamis, Hurricanes, etc time and time again. We always stand up again and return stronger than ever. Nothing will stop us, nothing will take us down.
Thank you for a great report. While there are sure to be others who disagree about the safety aspects, I believe there are many lessons to be derived from these residents' insights.
WTF BBQ na I was thinking maybe never...unless of course humans are immune to the effects of ionizing radiation which of course we are not! .if the people of Japan actually knew how much radiation there was from fukushima all over Japan ,they would leave asap...but the radiation has spread all over the northern hemisphere but people either don't understand or are choosing not to understand..even here in the UK fukushimas radiation has spread and contaminated the environment.
Once again an excellent discussion AB. My heart still goes out to the people of this region. I cannot image going through this and the loss they suffered.
i get reminded of sewol ferry incident from watching this video. asian boss, it would be nice to interview ppl in korea about this incident. its rlly sad how a lot of innocent high schoolers died
Thank you for sharing! I remember that day very well. This hits fairly close to home for me. At the time, my husband and brother in law (they are American) was living in Japan. But they were living in a different Prefecture at the time and thankfully they were both safe. But I feel bad for all those who lost their lives or family and friends who lost loved ones.
I don't know what I should say, but I am really happy to see so many people still willing to live in Fukushima. By a few years later, I will have visited there. I hope I could meet with a brand new, beautiful and lifeful city in Japan. Best wishes for Fukushima's citizens.
Hearing about the family who've been looking for 7 years anything that could be left of their daughter just struck so hard on a personal level bc I can relate to it.😢
I remember exactly where I was when this happened. I was in a classroom and I was just about to start my social science class. My classmates were making fun of me for being so worried about Japan...
Considering all they've been through and despite some measures for recovery that aren't ideal, this does show how Japanese people somehow come back strong after 3 devastating hits of nuclear radiation, a tsunami and an earthquake
The main damage has been made to the ocean. The Chernobyl disaster was more powerful but is also much more contained because it is inland. This one has more global impact.
Quantumese totally wrong, Chernobyl spread in many nearby countries, in case of Fukushima It's much more contained being of water, also there's already a wall that block anything that comes from it!
:))) "Contained being of water"?? That sounds mad, Fukushima radiation affected Californian coast, contaminated water has leaked into the ocean for years. The ocean currents carry this poison all over the world, it's in our "blood stream". The implications are far worse then those of Chernobyl accident precisely because of the ocean contamination.
It's strange how they argue Fukishima doesn't have high radiation levels....they are only 40 miles away from a nuclear disaster site...It sounds like they are believing incorrect information.
Grab a device that measures radiation. Go to a beach. Realize that the level of radiation there is higher than it is in a city half an hour away from a place where a radiation leak occurred. If you're going to be worried about radiation at that level, then stay out of the sun.
i saw a documentary where a mayor in the prefecture was doing town council meetings dealing with temporary bag storage after decontamination efforts are performed. i know what it's like to want to stay put. the familiarity of one's home is always a comfort. even after horrifying calamities and personal loss. it makes a lot of sense, that the lingering results of the power plant mishap will continue to be foremost in the minds of those around where it occurred. its a shame it couldn't have been avoided in the first place. but hind sight is always 20-20, as the saying goes.
I remembered watching the news 7 years ago, with images of cars and boats being washed away by the waves of the tsunami. I went to Japan for the first time 2 years after that. It was sad when I saw the destructions, I hope Fukushima will continue to rebuild itself, so that nobody can say bad things about Japan anymore.
well, i had lived 7years in Kobe and Nagoya i admit and agree they are really clean on streets and polite to people. But, one of my Japanese friends told me like Japan cannot be polluted by Air but one thing big deal is everything going to pollute in the Ocean deeply and gradually. Even, near the Tokyo Bay, my friend research team found caesium crystal so... (everybody know that caesium make a lot of disease one of things is itai itai disease) but my friend research reports has been banned from Japanese government so they have to realise how much polluted in their territories, which is citizens` right that need to know about what is going on their sea.
I hear from people in Japan how sad they are for their own losses, and i hear excuses, and i hear pride, where there should be shame. Projects go ahead such as sand dredged and piled for an airport, while Fukashima continues to let leakage spread, killing our oceans. This is what the rest of the world gets after USA bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but didn't finish the job all those years ago? Its normally easy to like everyone, but Japan continues pride, continues prejudice against other ppl, continues nuclear energy, even after is has proven it cannot manage it, and cannot even take responsibility and take full focused action. I won't buy anything Japanese, nor extend hospitality to Japanese, nor courtesy. For Japanese ppl claiming no part in the disaster, why are you still using your electricity and still supporting your nuclear energy production? Least you could do is STOP. That would be honourable.
Thank you for this sensitive reporting about a complicated and heartbreaking topic. I used to want to visit Japan, to see my friends there and experience the culture, but not any more. It would have been considered impossible to evacuate a country as populous as Japan at the time of the meltdown, much less to do it in timely manner, so I suspect that the government, media, etc., have decided to go about business as usual, for the sake of morale. As in, “Nothing we can do about this, so why cause panic?” I expect there will be a lot of cancer and thyroid issues down the road for people in all areas of Japan, as well as anyplace downwind from Japan. Speaking of wind-wind, tidal, and solar energy are the way to avoid future meltdowns.
I live in this city and visited the nuclear power plant/difficult to return zone in January, if you have any questions ask away. :) It's lovely here, everyone should come to visit!
It is likely that the west wind blew the cesium ball to Tokyo at the time of the explosion. Because the size of the cesium ball is a particle of micro-meter size, it can fly in the wind. It is highly likely that cesium balls have been introduced into the air.
It's not fair to compare radiation levels in a plane and in Koriyama. Sure, you're exposed to more radiation on a plane than in Fukushima Prefecture within the same timespan, but flights are usually only a few hours (the longest flight is about 18 hours) and as such, higher levels of radiation are tolerated. Though it might not affect every day life, being exposed to the higher than usual levels of background radiation as is the case in Fukushima does come with a higher risk of cancer aswell as psychological consequences such as radiophobia, depression and more. The long-term effects might not be visible for many decades. Either way, great video. Keep it up, love hearing the views and opinions on interesting topics from citizens around Asia.
so what about pilots and cabin crew? To be honest, I didn't know that flying implies radiation, but if it implied worrying levels of radiation then no one would work on planes I guess.
Yeah, pilot and flight crew aren't the best jobs when it comes to radiation exposure. Neither is a job in radiology, but people don't work 24/7 every day... Point is that higher than usual levels of background radiation where people live and breathe is something to be aware and concerned about. Even if it doesn't impact everyday life, like I said, there may be long-term effects that might not be visible for decades.
There are places with radiation levels naturally equal to Fukushima, and the cancer rate in those places are no different or lower than other places with less radiation.
choice of their government to sell their polluted food to other country is really immoral. But its irrelevant with the residents. its not their choice. i wish they can handle their own problem well. may the luck be with them.
Samuel Mahendra actually, its true. japanese government sold fukushima seafoods to thailand. they said that radioactive level is low, but thailand government hide detail information about the process.
Samuel Mahendra japanese government wants even our country to buy fukushima food. our government made compromise to buy some under safe condition(like checking radioactive level), but japanese government accused korea insisting that korea government violated international law.
Do you have a reliable source? I'm very curious because it doesn't make sense for the Korean and Chinese governments to accept "radioactive" imports instead of selling their own locally produced goods (which would be better for the local economy) seeing how tense relationships between the three countries are right now. Sounds more like people are taking advantage of the situation to spread rumours and feed the already existing hate against Japan.
Seung Jun Lee I'm gathering you've been watching propaganda news channels. If Fukushima seafood is tainted then so is all of South korea's. If you haven't noticed the two nations are geographically right next to each other. Do you think there is a barrier of water one nation to the next? Seawater flows in multiple directions and South Korea is right next to Japan.
I feel like it's especially sad this happened to a country like Japan 🇯🇵 which is so strict about life and quality in general. I hope it gets dealt with wisdom and we can all learn about what happened. 🙏 from 🇫🇮
Nice they're looking upwards. Would be nice to have actual comparative levels of radiation in the vid, but that's probably a bit over your production at the moment to get.
Deedless Deity There are various studies that are constantly updated by western countries. The image is much more grim than what these poor outstanding residents realize.
What a tough situation for the government and people to deal with. Sadly, i find it hard to believe companies and governments will be truthful about the safety risks involved with the area. The interviewees say things have improved, I hope they continue to do so.
I was 10 years old when all this happened in Japan. I made a project about that earthquake in Japan because it was about natural phenomena and I gathered a lot of information and pictures and it was the best in my class. Still soft and saddened about what happened in 11th March and I also live in a seismogenic country.
I admire people who has survived the catastrophe. But still skeptical about safeness of japan from radioactive. And i heard fukusima water is sold in japan. Isn’t it crazy?
YOu're right about being skeptical. No matter how you look at it, the amount of radioactive contamination into their environment is much more than the 2 nukes dropped on them and Chernobyl combined. It'll probably take another decade before the symptoms of radiation poisoning will become obvious.
I read a Japanese woman's comment elsewhere and she said no one in Japan, not anywhere, can drink the water as it makes them sick. I guess the Japanese gov't will continue to lie until all of it's citizens are dead because they did absolutely nothing to fix this, to save face. Disgusting and now the Pacific Ocean is dead and we are all right behind it.
Great video. Truly shows how japanese culture is and what the actual citizen think of the meltdown. I really dislike all this politically filtered content or documentations, but here people can just share their true and honest opinions. Thanks a lot for this awesome video, even though its subject is a tradegy.
I've read some article said that Japanese govt cheated filipino workers to clean up radioactive waste without warning them the danger of the job. Did Japanese govt compensate for those filipino workers? 🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵
Why dont they insulate the nuclear reactor deep in the ground? They could build a cooling system which uses sea water through pipes and shafts. Also, if theres a disaster it will be more effective to enclose and isolate the underground plant.
The Japanese people and their loyalty and respect towards all things in life cannot be compared to other counties around the world. The last few minutes of this video proved just that 🙏
If you are interested in this topic, I suggest a great documentary named " LITTLE VOICES FROM FUKUSHIMA", it gives greater insights from people of those areas
The feeling of safety from radiation expressed by a lot of the locals who appear in this video might be well justified. A map of the jet stream tells the story; they're west of the disaster, but the Pacific winds blow east. They're on the safer side of the disaster site.
I hope this video could give you real insight of what's really going on in Fukushima.
Wish my best to everyone there.
All the interviewees were so kind and sweet.

Hiroko TV You are soo good at reports and interviewing.
Hiroko TV Thanks for this video you did well, the questions you asked are the same questions I would ask. What a tragic event...

The people still looking for their daughter after 7 years... that's heartbreaking.
ShAdOwMaN ...yes. Literally. I am, in fact, now a ghost writing this.
i feel so sad after hearing that you know.
They are idiots, she's probably dead. I don't understand how deluded they must be.
Kaiser Wilhelm II Are you trolling ? Imagine if you were at the same situation.
hate to admit it but yes , she is already dead .
Just make sure they dont hear your words. ( which they wont )

No matter what is true, wish people in fukushima luck. I hope Fukushima gets recovered comepletely someday. From a random South Korean
SW L Thanks for it, South Korea also sent many rescuers to help find missing persons, we are grateful for it! Bless you,
Japan will recover like they always did. They are an amazing country. Also from a random south korean american lmao
Andrew Youn lol South Korean American, how interesting

There is no way Japan can look bad, at least to people with sense. Don't worry

@Sanjay Gupta どうしてそんなこと言ってるの?
Such a well made video. Thank you Asian Boss, this is the reason I subscribed!
Good documentary Asian Boss !Like usual !
Tiens toi ici :D
Mihuhi - More insane thing is Japan exporting their radiative product just like Thailand and other South East Asia countries
Chinese please dont tell lies about the japanese people. War crimes were commited by the imperial japan.
The people are innocent.
Sophy F EXACTLY. By the time they realize it, it'll be too late
I stayed there almost 6 years after this happened and was blessed to be with the people there helping and continuing life there ❤️
Great work as usual Asian Boss! More people need to know about you guys.
Great job Asian Boss. Very informative. And very emotional. One moment I was laughing the next moment I was crying.
Nothing will stop us, nothing will take us down.
big hug !!
Thank you for a great report. While there are sure to be others who disagree about the safety aspects, I believe there are many lessons to be derived from these residents' insights.
Always very insightful and informative as always. It's good to see that people love where they live and don't want to move.
Thanks so much for this. It breaks a lot of misconceptions about what happened to the people of Fukushima.
Feel so sorry for Japan and I am Chinese and I wish Fukushima can get back on track one day!
Jann Lee thanks, bless you
Oh, it will get back on track .......... In a few hundred years or so. Maybe a thousand, give or take.
Thus is really an interesting topic. Good job!
Awesome video!!!
Great quality. This should top ten Asian boss videos
i get reminded of sewol ferry incident from watching this video. asian boss, it would be nice to interview ppl in korea about this incident. its rlly sad how a lot of innocent high schoolers died
震災の時の映像を見ると心苦しくなります。福島の方々の強く生きている姿を見て、震災を風化させたくないと思いました。
sasuke ishikawa どの動画も韓国人が作ってるよ。
It's great to see the people are coping and managing their lives. God bless them.
Going to Fukushima in 2 weeks. Can't wait to experience life in this beautiful prefecture
What a powerful video and message. Thank you asian boss
I don't know what I should say, but I am really happy to see so many people still willing to live in Fukushima. By a few years later, I will have visited there. I hope I could meet with a brand new, beautiful and lifeful city in Japan. Best wishes for Fukushima's citizens.
Love this! Definitely adding to my bucket list!
Hearing about the family who've been looking for 7 years anything that could be left of their daughter just struck so hard on a personal level bc I can relate to it.😢
What is wrong with those two? Cleaning radioactive material is not “that” dangerous? Are you serious?
People of Fukushima are so brave & humble... truly remarkable. Thank you for heart touching video. 🎌
Maina Edward fine line between bravery and stupidity
I remember exactly where I was when this happened.
I was in a classroom and I was just about to start my social science class.
My classmates were making fun of me for being so worried about Japan...
It makes me really happy to see these people moving and rising up on but also questioning the behaviour of their government.
Quantumese Boy it's funny that most of that people that talk about radiation are Doomsday nutjob, conspiracy theories
It's strange how they argue Fukishima doesn't have high radiation levels....they are only 40 miles away from a nuclear disaster site...It sounds like they are believing incorrect information.
The radiation levels are high but not more than accrue naturally.
Grab a device that measures radiation. Go to a beach. Realize that the level of radiation there is higher than it is in a city half an hour away from a place where a radiation leak occurred.
If you're going to be worried about radiation at that level, then stay out of the sun.
@@annojance You are an idiot. Now the water in all of Japan is undrinkable.
love you hiroko and what you do
Super interesting topic!
Lol... the guy says there are countries that are more radioactive than Fukushima. Can he name few?
Switzerland and Russia
J. M Kazakhstan
i saw a documentary where a mayor in the prefecture was doing town council meetings dealing with temporary bag storage after decontamination efforts are performed. i know what it's like to want to stay put. the familiarity of one's home is always a comfort. even after horrifying calamities and personal loss. it makes a lot of sense, that the lingering results of the power plant mishap will continue to be foremost in the minds of those around where it occurred. its a shame it couldn't have been avoided in the first place. but hind sight is always 20-20, as the saying goes.
娘さんのご遺体が出来るだけきれいな状態で見つかるよう祈ります。
Wonsuk CHO Its because of the olympics.
It answered a lot of my questions about Fukushima. However, I do hope the people of the area are truly safe from radioactive waste.
I remember the disaster, I was a high school senior
and everyone started worrying so bad about our Japanese friends.
That hit me when they said they were still looking for their child after 7 years...gosh
7 years! This still feels like it happened only a few years ago. Wow.
No one died of radiation and they live longer than you.
Duh.
Great vid, have you guys considered a video on Chineese views about U.S./EU relations with Russia?
I wish the government would be honest with the people, they deserve the truth!
Olympic baseball game in Fukushima japan is crazy
choice of their government to sell their polluted food to other country is really immoral. But its irrelevant with the residents. its not their choice. i wish they can handle their own problem well. may the luck be with them.
They don't just export radioactive food, they carefully screen them to verify for safe radiation levels. please stop believing false rumors.
Love ya Asian Boss.
Seven years missing! That's so sad, I hope they get closure soon.
Great video. Truly shows how japanese culture is and what the actual citizen think of the meltdown. I really dislike all this politically filtered content or documentations, but here people can just share their true and honest opinions. Thanks a lot for this awesome video, even though its subject is a tradegy.
I think I´m like Hiroko, becuase when someone tells me about something harsh or sad, I get nervous and start smiling:/.
The radiation levels are that low? Hmm to me it sounds like the persons filmed are told what to say...
I've read some article said that Japanese govt cheated filipino workers to clean up radioactive waste without warning them the danger of the job. Did Japanese govt compensate for those filipino workers? 🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵
zs Xie if it's true, I'm ashamed of our forgiveness to Japan. If it's true, I will doubt about the relationship between the countries
Tom19142 Google it yourself, please. Too many fabricated fake news today. I can't recognize/confirm neither. 🙏🏻
zs Xie I have already done some research. I've only found one where it says about Filipino nurses who were helping the Fukushima population
Tom19142 Great news! Filipino helping Japanese ! Search "Vietnamese trainee was tricked to clean up nuclear waste in Japan", reported by Japantimes.
zs Xie I'm also not surprised of the helps by the Philippines. Philippines have done it many times like in Vietnam, South Korea, Taiwan, Jews in WW2
My buddy was stationed in Japan for years he is perfectly fine no bad feedback
I wish the reporter had asked how they test for radiation, what they do to test?
Why dont they insulate the nuclear reactor deep in the ground? They could build a cooling system which uses sea water through pipes and shafts. Also, if theres a disaster it will be more effective to enclose and isolate the underground plant.
the best CGI film you will ever see, absolutely believable,
Suddenly, many people get sick without knowing, and they are dying slowly now.
Can't believe it's already been 7 years!
The feeling of safety from radiation expressed by a lot of the locals who appear in this video might be well justified. A map of the jet stream tells the story; they're west of the disaster, but the Pacific winds blow east. They're on the safer side of the disaster site.
Japan just destoryed the earth
Japan is the Deathstar!
beautiful people, beautiful hearts
Good Luck Fukushima
i remeber seeing the part of the tsunami on the news when i was 7, i dont remeber a lot of it. I learned a lot about it
I was just watching a video of this in class today! What a coincidence
