This video covers UK CAA test to earn a Flyer ID as of March 2023, please remember to check the official website for up to date rules and regs.
You need a Flyer ID to fly any drone above 250g, and it's recommended to have one even if you're flying lighter aircraft. Even if you do not need to register, you must still follow the Drone and Model Aircraft Code when you fly.

I started watching this video, after a few minutes, i thought I'd take the test before watching the rest, just to see what I already knew. Got 34/40, a pass, but if I had watched the whole video, I'd have got 40 like the rest of you guys seem to have.

I've just bought a sub 250g drone. Can I take the drone test get the I'd and not put it on my sub 250g drone, say in a year from now I decide to get a bigger drone can I then put the ID sticker on the drone from the test I did a year previous. Great video. Thanks new sub. .

I do have a question about recording if i dont put a sd card in my drone when flying can us still get done for brech of privacy if someone phones the police and turn up ?
