another amazing video, however slight problem with the landing....
If you were to live the full Ryanair experience you should of slammed the 737 into the ground nose first at mach 2 and then do a 180 at the end of the runway.
then annoyed some controllers.
But apart from that great video! +Matt Davies
Hahahaha!!! Made me laugh.
I was looking for this comment
+Demilade Ogunremi Me too he said it in the stream
+Guus te Wierik lol
+Dafydd Rees ryanair landings 2/10
aer lingus landing 9.5/10
that landing was too smooth for ryanair xD
9:30 "PMDG, live a little, spend a lot"
Watched this, thoroughly enjoyed it, and jumped back into the NG for old times' sake. Started at night, and promptly discovered my landing lights don't work, the runway lights were glitchy, GSX shat the bed when trying to ask for boarding, EzDok put my cockpit camera inside the jetway outside, and I had to reinstall the NGX to get the FMC buttons to work.
Oh, P3D. Your planes are so brilliant, but why does everything else about you feel so broken. :( Time for yet another re-install I guess...
+Matt Davies You should do Manchester to Geneva with easyjet
I had to do about 5 reinstalls i think until i fixed all my issues with p3d v3. Now it runs beautifully
.
Glad to see you back on channel Matt. Nice flight in rough weather!
Merry Christmas Matt, thanks for producing amazing content for UA-cam and twitch this year. I'm using you tweak guide for my p3d v3 on my new computer that I'm getting for Christmas, thank you in advance for the results, merry Christmas and a happy new year! :-)
A nice landing for Christmas!! ;) Well done Matt and Merry Christmas dude!! Cheers!!
Super video Matt.... looked like fun... been flightsimming since mid 90s... used to fly Vatsim... think I'm going to get back to it... always a bit intimidating.. but always such fun... thanks
That was great to watch. Hope to see more videos now that your back with the restriction lifted. Thanks Matt
One of the best videos in my opinion for a while, to say if was a short flight it was jam packed!!
Great video Matt, it's good to see Liverpool being staffed more and more!
Welcome back Matt, we've missed you! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Thanks for 2015, Matt. All the very best for the new year!
Glad things are back to normal now matt! Have a happy Christmas :)
hey Matt i have watched this video at least 5 times since you put it out :D. Cant wait for more Ryanair flights
Cheers Matt, have an awesome Christmas mate, and great to see you back on ^_^
Top video Matt, my home airport GP, the spotting mound will be no more in the future due work on sterilisation for full CATIII ops.
Nice to see Vatsim busy at my local, may give it a try sometime :)
Awesome video, one of your best, Matt!
Thank you for another excellent video Matt.A very merry Christmas to you
Merry christmas matt! And a very happy 2016, thanks for the new video, keep it up dude!
Wellcome back Matt!! and merry christmas
ohhh yayyyy Merry Christmas matt hope u enjoy it and keep up the great videos
Merry x-mas matt great video!!!
Great video, you should definitely do more with ATC ! Merry Xmas
Merry Christmas Matt great video.
I believe the stabilizer is moved by an electrically driven motor! Or via cables connected to the trimwheel. No need for hydraulic pressure :)
The trim is a separate system and you want to have it trimmed before push. Also, you want to have the Pito heat and you want to have all hydraulic switches on before engine start. The checklist goes: Hydraulic panel (set), beacon (on), Transponder (XPNRD) and then breaks release, ready to push.
+Matt Davies Thanks for the Xmas gift Merry Christmas and have a good one!
Awesome Video Matt.
Nice vid matt. To help you with the descent profile (CDA) into LPL you can do what we do and put in an FMC profile. We use the following for right hand downwind 27.
TIPOD (FL60B) EGGP360/4 (4000b) 59DME 360/4 (2500B) 59DME (2000)
Hope this helps
Hey Matt, great video. One little thing: I have heard from some people that in real life, pilots tend to use flaps 40 if the landing weight exceeds 60 tons. Helps a little with your pitch.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Matt!
Great video Matt!!!
If I had to take a guess, I would say the trim on the 37 is mechanically driven, with the electric motor actuating the mechanical push-rod. I don't think it has full surface trim, like the 27, and its not large enough to warrant full hydraulic trim. Plus, the control surfaces have mechanical back ups, so this seems like a in theme choice for boeing.
Merry Christmas Matt :) I wish you a nice 2016 and keep up the good work:)
Great video Matt Keep it up!
Merry Christmas Matt. Have a good one...
Another great video Matt --- From a new subscriber - God bless!
Hi Matt!
Can you share your Ezdok settings for the aerosoft a320 please?
Ryanair logo on the left winglet not on the right winglet typical rayanair ;)
Great video Matt :)
Hi Matt enjoyed your video what a busy approach :) and by the way merry Christmas to you and your loved ones ;)
This video is great for me. I am from Liverpool originally. So cool man. Thanks for the upload.
As a child i used to play FSX with frames between 5-10..
You are back...yay!
Merry Christmas and happy flying to you all !
Merry Christmas mate
No in the NG its electrical trim on the yoke and manual trim wheel
Your back!!'m I missed your videos
Merry Christmas Matt! Just got my saitek pro flight system😀
+Matt Davies
Gotta have Christmas dinner first😂😤
Hi, Matt. Could you make a video flying drunk? That would bring more reality to the experience since that's the way cool American Airlines pilots do it.
Another amazing video matt
You have not even seen it yet ;)
+Dirty it's a belynz video I don't need to see it to know it's amazing :)
I spot what appears to be the wings of the BAe 146/Avro RJ in your channel art - is it possible for you to do a flight with that sometime?
Maybe the Qualitywings version? Great aircraft, amazingly detailed!
And if you do - how about flying the CityJet flight 19 (London City to Paris Orly) in the RJ85?
Thanks for this gift Matt! You should try the flyjsim 727 when you can.
Hi Matt, in case you didn't already know the item in the middle of the two call signs at 4:29 is the latch the is used to hold/release the overhead (P5) panel.
THANKYOU. THANKYOU for all the work u put in making these vids you inspired me. So thank you very much matt keep on making vids they are really cool. @belynz
Matt, nice inspiring video but where do you obtain your metar info from please and in particular the temp at cruise level?
Your landings are getting better every time unlike me I haven't flown for a while and the other day I thought I will have a go and I missed the runway..
Could you do some Scandinavian Airlines flights? I would prefer one that has the 737-600.
Awesome video and I enjoyed the visual effects. I know you stated earlier in your video about the person who did the sound package, question is the air effects flowing over the wings was that created by the same person? If not where did you find it? Is there a similar package for FSX? One more question, what software did you use that allowed you to move your camera up, down side to side and not having to be fixed on your aircraft?
Very Nice atc. He is willing to help people
Yes, the trim is connected to the hydraulic system.
Matt, can you show a replay after you land? I would absolutely love to see your beautiful landings from the tower or from the outside view.
Thanks,
Adan
Hi Matt please can you do an updated tutorial on Vpilot modelmatching? Im having trouble getting it to work and would be great if you could help. Thanks!
Hey, I come from Germany, and I have to say that your videos are great.
Hi Matt I really enjoy your videos. Cheers
Isn`t the standard entry altitude for an ILS usually 3000 or 2500ft? Or where you already on the ils when you made that turn to 240?
hello . please which addon do you use for night lighting. is it orbx?? because my one does'nt display properly lights
Hey Matt,
I've been having an issue in FSX where when I'm cold and dark the vc sound is how it should be but when I go in outside view and back to vc the sound resets to engines on as if the aircraft was running even though it's still in cold and dark state. Any help or suggestions?
-Hova (JJ)
Merry Christmas Matt! I was just having the same question about the trim working without hydraulic pressure. I was thinking have I been departing without the trim set for takeoff because I too set it at the gate. I would think you would need hydraulics for that.
hi matt,
nice videos. do you fly only in VATSIM? I fly on IVAO and I love the it. have you tried one time on IVAO and what is your opinion about the differences of these two? happy new year keep going.
a great flight!!
@45:15, "I cannot find the hold button on my computer". Love it.
are you using a add-on for lighting? The city looms amazing on approach/final.
Where did you get your sound pack from?Merry Christmas Matt! Great video!
he answered that in thei Video :P
Thank you but I have the p3d academic and my graphics are diferent they are the same than the fsx do you know why?
+Matt Davies Where do you find all of the call signs you use for your flights? I usually use FlightAware but i could not find the flight you did in the video. Was the call sign you used fictional?
I was RYR589X from Tenerife when you were landing at Liverpool ;-)
when you fly on vatsim, do you need to turn of ai traffic? and will the other people at vatsim appear in the game automatic or do you need to do something to see the planes they fly?
how did you determine the ISA deviation- was it written on the charts, or did you calculate it? Great video once again, merry christmas!
Sound pack name Matt ? :D
can you plz give me the full list of all teh addons you used in this video?????PLZ
The stab trim is hydraulicly driven
I've seen the 737 so many times.... I only watch these videos because of the scenery.
Nice one. Did this flight aswell
24mins in... actually looks real gg thumbs up. i've got your config files thanks!
737-800 has got to be one of the best aircraft
bmxwaffle with an Airbus a380 pic
The answer to your trim question is: 'The pitch control surfaces consist of hydraulically powered elevators and an electrically powered stabilizer'
Matt can you do london(heathrow) to jakarta(soekarno-hatta) in a 777?
Finally you took off from Eidw
yep. cant adjust trim in the 777 without hydro's
Nice landing :)
Hi Matt, is there a chance you could make a video flying KLM743 AMS LIM?
Thanks!
+Matt Davies The Ryanair logo is on one winglet only? Compare them 12:04 and 12:07
Hey Matt, i've just got v3 how do you find dublin scenery? is it Aerosofts version?
Hey Matt just wondering if you could fly the EasyJet service from Southend (EGMC) to Faro (LFPR) would be pretty great if you could thanks
Why do you use a derate? And do they do this in real life too?
how do you get the the different aircrafts parcked up at the gate like the EasyJet
Quick Question, why did you change your course nearing Liverpool?, Was it due to the Hold?
Hi Matt! Really enjoyed this. Did you happen to see a BA Cityflyer E190 landing at a upping while you were at Dublin? I was flying at the same time as you!
I heard someone over ATC around that time that sounded a bit like you, so maybe that was someone else.
Hey Matt! What is the link for your Ezdok profiles for the NGX and Airbus?
