The fact that 'A million to One' is on the album, makes it pure gold.

I mean seriously, this time last year, he was offering previously unreleased lyrics (which I’m assuming were for tracks from that unreleased third album “Guitarmageddon” or “Pyro messiah: Guitars from hell” thing is he wanted $125 k for them😂
I love these Episodes with Will, this was a very enjoyable watch. You guys bounce off each other well.

I love your show. Please do it forever. My new favorite LP is VH Diver Down. I can’t believe I ignored this album until now. As I said, CREEM gave it a bad review so I ignored it. It is now my favorite VH. As is normal, I despise Sammmy too.
Diver down I like the covers, but all the originals sound to me like they are lower quality, and would not have made it up to the standard of any other Roth albums.
The bootleg I have of the Nashville 83 gig has gene singing young and wasted. Great fuckin channel. Huge fan. You may like music I hate and you might hate music I like but the passion for the music is there. Keep rockin and keep the videos coming.

Well, I'm not alone. Creatures and Lick are my two favorite Kiss albums. I like the harder stuff and finally Kiss went that way.

there is some raw recordings on youtube of gene singing Young and Wasted early in the Lick It Up tour. He struggled with the high notes. Pretty obvious why it was handed off to Eric.
I remeber he did the song many times so you might be right he did inthe beginning of the tour /

Lick it Up and Creatures great come back from the 79-81 clunkers. Btw Ralph here in Stl in a 3,500 seat auditorium the upper half was closed and the section off the floor was empty in the back area for the Creatures tour. LIU tour didn’t come to Stl. 🙁
It’s a really good album and an almost as good follow up to creatures. The last kiss album which still has a hard edge to it until revenge. Animalize is pretty good. Not quite up to the same standard, asylum similar. kiss struggled with quality after asylum.

I dig the enthusiasm here of friends talking about music they love. Looking into that Eric Carr Unfinished Business version of “All Hell’s Breaking Loose”, it seems like Eric didn’t play or sing on that song at all, it was a tribute band. Great cover, but not Eric.

Will Carroll 13 Yeah, it was a band called Z02. Killer version tho.
The last good album
Lick It Up is my favorite Kiss album from the 80's. Creatures Of The Night for me is almost as amazing as Lick It Up.
Most upsetting thing about the video "Lick it up" is seeing KISS without makeup, I was like "put it back on, please!"
Only bad part of LIU is the downgrade in production, especially compared to the huge drum sound that was on Creatures.
Track by track battle idea - Unmasked (KISS) vs Infestation (RATT).
There are some good tracks on Lick It up but as a whole the album is light years away from Creatures and Creatures is good without being killer. Also , some of the titles of tracks on Lick It Up are questionable.

He had church bell on bass solo /
crossed his hands over the bass/
Try avoid the sunlight coming down/
Alot of smoke going on/
Bass solo was like he had makeup on/
Only missing the blood/
He still had the character going/

Gene should left that sinking ship when vinnie left/fired/
Gene was a sideman all those non makeup years it was/
A stanley/ Desmond child co oporation /
Total girlie band/
And that Revenge was total buisness trick when it come /
It was not convinsing/
Well if Simmons had left before Animalize and doing hoolywood for those years and might get /
Back with that Revenge look without those asshats in Kith/
I think he would done great with a hard rocking band with the badass look he had on Revenge/
But that was not his idea so he had to had have the right people around him/
It suited him no other in that band was convincing in those outfits/
He should have his own band /
And that stupid Paulina had a bet on Gene should not stick hes tounge out on Revenge tour or pictures/
Ya see total moron if he ever should put his tounge out in a non makeup period besides Lick It Up it/

Revenge is a total overrated album to/

Yes gene was singing young and wasted inthe start of lick it up tour I guess he has done it that for sure maybe he did all lick it up tour and Carr taken over on Animalize tour/
I had tonns of bootlegs from both periods so I am 100% sure he sang Youn And Wasted many times and maybe i say maybe while lick it up tour👍😎👍
