I first started listening to the original lineup with vocalist Chuck Moseley in 1986. Then 'The Real Thing' hit in 1989 with Mr. Bungle vocalist Mike Patton and they never looked back. They kicked ass and conquered the music scene as one of the most original genre crossing bands respected by all!
I can't comprehend a single FNM fan from the Chuck era liking Patton. All of three of my siblings hate Mike Patton. It unites us as a family. Are you sure you are not cultivating false roots? Patton is vile.
I have to disagree. At least in regards to the the FNM show I saw at the Warfield in San Francisco. They played for an hour. I love FNM, Mr. Bungle, Tomahawk... Yet, that show was one of the more disappointing live performances Ive seen. Not even sure why they decided to go on tour for that album.
@@aaronbreeden2272 when was that? I feel like the shows went a little weak on the Sol Invictus tour... like they weren't putting enough energy on that. Maybe they are just getting old :P

Along with RATM, Faith No More's live shows outdo the albums. It's been almost 30 years and Chinese Arithmetic still sounds fresh.
