Technically, NPC turned on her after the third hit. Even Buddha's patience has limits ^^

And here we see a shark learning that actions do in fact have consequences.
That montage was beautiful. Perfectly captured the hype felt when Gura was finally getting the hang of fighting him. Gura can be pretty oblivious to tutorials and anything requiring comprehensive reading, but once she gets into gamer mode, she's pretty perceptive and strategic. Not bad, sharky!
A shame she gave up so quickly on the game.

I prefer his dialogue from the network test. But he must have needed to be changed to add his quest. Being told to go die in a ditch somewhere wouldn't be a proper ending apparently.

Impressive, honestly. Gura both created and passed her own trial by fire as her introduction to a Soulsborne game.
For someone using starting gear, with no prior experience with Souls games, I reckon it's quite commendable.

Like in many RPGs this guy makes an easy fight if you come back later with upgrades, but straight out the gate (literal) this is more like finding-the-bossfight-before-finding-the-quest.
Was pain seeing gura get block broken constantly for the first 10? (Maybe 20) Times.

There is a questline for him that rewards a infinite use pvp invasion item (regular one get used up each time you invade), so for PVP players he's essential.

I don't think I will be wrong if I say that "we" as FromSoft veterans in general are not gatekeeping at all and always welcome new players, which are many this time. We may have an... unorthodox ways to welcome them but still) Especially I like the fact that many of newcomers don't hesitate to partake in PvP (which is awesome in ER). It's looks very funny sometimes, but it warms my heart. "And then he started to fatroll towards me. Menacingly".

The loot was fingers (not the subject of the video) and the song was violin cover of a karate kid song... but i respect your opinion and thanks for the feedback

As for showing the loot, it's part of why I clicked the video. It's a bit difficult to articulate why it's a safe alternative. I watched an Irys video to see it.
