Irys emphatically says she will never fight the giant ants ever again in Elden Ring.

Let me tell you right now, as someone who is replaying this game from the start, a year apart from the last time I played, you start to see how easy it is to suffer in a fight like this, especially when you're not familiar😭 Really makes you appreciate finally adapting and learning to beat the fight, a true feeling of achievement. If you can stick through any fight until the end (no matter how many ass whoppings you get served), you can beat this game. Proud of Irys for not giving up on the fight!
This is what trips people up, other souls games are all about getting good, elden ring is about knowledge about how to cheese the game, so the bosses in later areas are cracked up. She at least is using a good bleed weapon, only missing the mimic and the sleep pots.
@@devildante9 Nah, it's the same as any other souls game in this regard. All of them can be effectively cheesed, this one just has more of that mechanic. But effectively the same, I like hitting things with a weapon so I do bosses like that. If you like finding their weakness and exploiting that, you do them like that.
What I will say is this: If you chose to be melee, be in melee. Only Todd Howard neglects programming the difference into his AI

Loved the stream though Irys losing her shit with the Duo is so fun to watch.
Irys was super under-leveled for the Godskin Duo. The fact she was able to persevere and win in the end was beyond satisfying. I honestly think she'll have an easier time with Malekith than the duo.

Nice edit. Only saw up to after she got past the Dungeon with the rolling chariot defeating quite a few minor bosses along the way. Despite losing hope, her perseverance always seems to pay off. RIP the Fungus twins. That instrumental cover of Only the Best was nicely timed.
I double summoned for this in NG+3 today and I do not regret anything.

Godskin Duo is one of the worst bosses in the game to have to fight after a hiatus where you become out of practice. It's painful at the best of times, but when your edge is dull, it's straight hell. I may or may not also know this from experience
Godskin duo are such pain in the ass. I totally dogwalked then when they alone. But when these Walmart ornstein and smough together it took me about 26 attempt

I appreciate that unlike me and probably a lot of us, IRyS actually will spend a few minutes to refamiliarize herself with the controls instead of just running in with the idea that it’ll come back eventually.

Gank fights in Souls games can be a true test of your skills at the best of times, but other times (like here) they are complete and utter bullshit
"Sleep helped a lot" did she used the Sleep status? I can't do that without sleep
They were definitely her biggest struggle in Elden Ring yet (besides ants existing🤣), but she was pretty under leveled so she got some more levels and beat them in the end😊
They will never learn to run far enough away from the enemy or heal in a blind spot while the enemy is in the attack animation.
For some reason, people completely ignore the fact that soulsborne healing has a fairly long animation and does not restore health from the first frame

Fun fact: Bob is no longer in Tekken because he's the Godskin Noble and IRyS fucking killed him. Funner fact: Slim Bob is the Apostle.
Why is she surprised that Godskin Noble has rollin for so long?
There are 3 places where you can meet him. Vulcano Manor, The Divine Tower in Liurnia and somewhere else there was a battle against the snail that summoned him.

Well, I have a similar story with Doom Eternal.
I started playing in 2021 and never completed the game completely, but I started 5 new playthroughs (the game is good but for some reason I stop halfway through. Especially in the part with a collection of objects. I want to collect them all, but I hate collecting items)
I'm truly not a souls player.
I enjoyed Elden Ring because i used build guides, focused on magic, grinded out levels, and used summons. I'm by no means a dodge/parry/ memorise attacks guy.
And it's ok..

Few things.I don't like about the series, either go phyiscal and be hard or be magic and it be easy or you want hard but magic, weapon types you want to use some type but have to stick with some other weapon as it half way into the game or there like only two. Not in it for pvp so the force offline is annoying when you don't want invaders.
I found magic harder than melee since it doesn't stagger bosses as commonly than melee

@@ervinpatague9743 That's only if you run builds where you stagger as melee. If you powerstance straight swords like I do then you won't stagger the bosses.

Why do people remain adamant to not use Spirit Ashes on the double godskin fight? It's quite obvious they want you to 2v2 it via ashes or coop.

The game gives you a hundred tools and I like to use none of them. They're cheap and just there to help players with no skill cheese the game. It's designed that way to make more money at the cost of integrity. Also, I don't like using finite resources I have to grind for.

Just accept your lack od skill and use the summons, that's what I did.
Tbh I hated this boss fight more than Malenia
I don't. Bust out a +10 summon - especially the Mimic Tear, and this fight is over real fast. Malenia though? No, less you have a cheese build you double up on her with. Depending on the ash, skill, and luck, you'll either make the fight somewhat easier or just give her more health.

@@dannyd.9932 Faired better than me. I got sick of their shit after like an hour and decided to even the odds with the mimic. Yeah, they got melted real hard that very round. I don't feel bad for doing so because it's repeat bosses I soloed before and a gank fight. I tried the same with Malenia, but I still ended up fighting her for another 5-6 hours before victory.
Lets be honest, this is all skill issue and a refusal to adapt and learn the game and use the tools given to you.

Not many people know about the sleep potion. An easier cheese for her to exploit is to hide behind the large stumps of the pillars when the Noble spins.
