Excellent video as usual 😎😎 I'm looking forward to the charity working day on the 14th August near Clonakilty, they always put on an excellent event, you'll love it 👍
Had to chuckle with your comment on Uncles Ian's tractor being in the way. You should do a video on the old equipment you have in the yard that is not used any more, there always seems to be and old header, plough, trailer or even tractor around. I know ye got rid of a lot of old gear/scrap last year but would be interesting to see what other things are lying around. After all the straw blower was sitting in nettles for years before being used again last winter.
There is no better way to spend a day than hauling grass or stacking turf. Luckily my son's who are die hard Manchester boys love hauling grass and are chasing a jaguar all thought Northern cork this summer.
Good man Phil,I'm loving how the videos are just rolling from one straight into the other, great stuff. Question for you, when you harvest the maize, can you pit it with silage like you do with whole crop?
Afternoon Philip You are looking and sounding a bit stressed !!! Slow down please It always works out in the end Might not be perfect But you will get another bite of the apple. Maybe later in the season
Fantastic video Phil….. bit of everything!! Great to hear yer coming to the Real Capital County of 🇮🇪👌🏻😂 but ye should have come to the richer 💰 side in East Cork and not the poorer Whest side 😜
You should have the shovel and tractor on the pit because the shovel it can roll the pit but its not ideal if you have the tractor and shovel on the pit buckracking plus if their is a break down with the shovel or tractor at least you can still lift the grass and there is no stopping plus as well when your finish lifting for the farmer the tractor can go down the road to the next place the shovel can stay and tidy up and your saying bye to the farmer its giving you the harder money for doing the job
Fair play to you what do you recin off putting the hole crop under the 2nd cut is it a good job is holecrop a good job whst age is the jagure and how long had you it would you ever change it and what for
Hi Phil, if you are ever thinking about building a new cattle shed would you do one with the pit exposed to the cattle? A neighbour of mine runs his that way so the dairy cows can eat as much back as they want and cuts down the labour of carting silage to them.

You should take the loader off the Massey and put it on one of the 62’s another think around the yard for feeding cattle would be handy

Phil it would be great to get your dad and Tom pembertons dad together. It would be a brains trust.
Good man Phil,I'm loving how the videos are just rolling from one straight into the other, great stuff.

Some yokes we had a wedge in our pit because some that forgot it was in there trailer
Afternoon Philip You are looking and sounding a bit stressed !!! Slow down please It always works out in the end Might not be perfect But you will get another bite of the apple. Maybe later in the season
We also got less out of the first cut than last year, so it's one of those years. To wet and cold...
If you like pressure Phil try two choppers and 9 trailers!
Hi Phil
Super video,,did ye ever try that supersoil for growing grass, considering the cost of chemical fertiliser.
Anyone else think the loading shovel sounds like a Hitachi ex series digger
Well Phil
Hi good video just wondering where you get the pig slurry
You should give father Phil the camera for a day
What is going on with the 6480? Must be an awful troublesome yoke
How many acres of pit silage would ye contract per season Phil..?
Well
Should have went to the tullamore show I be thinking no ?
I will be there we love in there
Fantastic video Phil….. bit of everything!! Great to hear yer coming to the Real Capital County of 🇮🇪👌🏻😂 but ye should have come to the richer 💰 side in East Cork and not the poorer Whest side 😜
What’s the plan with the 6480
Phill wud u use the finger bar mower
Are you going to the Tullamore show
Phil would it be worth putting a concrete wall at the back of the whole crop and silage pit walls?
You should have the shovel and tractor on the pit because the shovel it can roll the pit but its not ideal if you have the tractor and shovel on the pit buckracking plus if their is a break down with the shovel or tractor at least you can still lift the grass and there is no stopping plus as well when your finish lifting for the farmer the tractor can go down the road to the next place the shovel can stay and tidy up and your saying bye to the farmer its giving you the harder money for doing the job

What's wrong with the 3690
Just wondering how come u don't put a mass concrete wall at the black of ur silage pit
Cost money which is not in plenty full supply around that yard sorry to say 🥲
do ye seal the edge of the silagec pit?
Good man
What happen your neighbours massy the bonnet has seen better days
🇨🇮😀👍

how ye manage to get away the banks of earth still if ye wall it all would help to keep out the rats
Some craic when the department inspector walks into that yard.
Great video Phil
