The HS41 is a good light, but it is heavy as a headlamp (the HS20 is MUCH more practical, and it has both spot and flood). And once you stop using it as a headlamp and begin using it on belts or chest straps, it is more difficult to point it as easily. Under these conditions, the beam is too much of a spot. A more diffuse, flood beam would be better when strapped anywhere other than your head. Does anyone know of a way to diffuse the light? I would permanently glue a diffusing lens on the glass if I could. There is not enough edge for the popular silicone cup diffusers to work, I think.
