    Great video! At 55, I'm just learning to type, and this really helps me a lot. Not just for kids, lol. Thank you

      That’s great! Totally works with adults too! It’s kinda fun learning to type and getting better at it!

    Ah, this was the video I watched so many months ago. All because of this video I recently was able to hit 140wpm over 60 seconds. Thank you.

    Do you think it's safe to sign in with google account?

      We do… but I don’t know what you mean by safe? The internet can only be so safe. You are not ever completely safe online (IMO).

    My questions that you did not answer in your video would be
    1) how much does each cost if you get the premium, because my dyslexic kid would get very distracted by the ads.
    2) How long does a premium subscription last?
    3) Which one (or do both) have a setting where you can make the typing sound like a typewriter? My dyslexic kid also finds that noise very soothing for some reason.

      Here is the best pricing info I could find for typing . com premium: www.typing.com/premium
      And here is the typingclub info: www.typingclub.com/sportal/plans.html
      I do not know of the answer to your #3 question. Thank you for reaching out!

      @Piggymasterz_yt I don’t know the answer to that. You would need to contact Miacademy customer service to find that out.

    Are the ads child appropriate?

    • @CalmintheChaosHomeschool
      @CalmintheChaosHomeschool  4 місяці тому +1

      I will say… maybe? I don’t remember seeing anything inappropriate, but, when my child was posting some of the games attached to typing.com, they were taken to inappropriate places… so, personally I recommend paying for ad free (it was only a few dollars a month). I was not aware of that app when I made this video.

    Typing club seems like garbage, why would you teach people to type "jdksl;" and "gfkghj" ?

      You are training your brain to know where those keys are so you can type them without looking. At that point you don’t know enough keys to be typing real words. It makes complete sense to me. Just one way to learn something…
