Hayley Atwell, the woman in that scene with Nick, is playing his Aunt Diane, whose role has been expanded a bit from what it is in the comics due to Olivia’s absence. Hopefully if they get a fourth season Olivia will be able to come back!

AFAIK a full Dialectical Behaviour Therapy program, 5 to 6 hours per week for around ten or more years, which can cure BPD, can also successfully stabilise and save the lives of people with ED.
