INTENSE FIREFIGHTING ACTION! - Canadair CL-415 Water Bomber - Croatian Air Force
Вставка
- Опубліковано 29 сер 2024
- Croatian Air Force Canadair CL-415 pilots showing their skill as one of the premier firefighting pilots on the planet. Today a wildfire erupted on the Kozjak mountain which is near Split, Croatia. The terrain was extremely challenging when approaching the fire since there's a near vertical cliff face near the peak of Kozjak. In some instances the CL-415 was channeling it's inner Stuka dive bomber when it just dove on that wildfire. Close to the wildfire there was a church a mountaineering house and a military radar base which were all saved thanks to the crews of the CL-415s and the firefighters on the ground who are as important as the firefighters from above.

In Greece we suffer many forest fires were it not for our fleet of CLs, and from other countries, we would have no more forests. All firefighting pilots have my utmost respect. May the fallen ones rest in peace.
im no pilot but to go into a steep dive like this while being fully loaded requires massive balls of steel.
Not really.
Superb Croatian pilots!! And congrats for keeping those birds perfectly maintained.
Best regards from Quebec! (Home of Canadair in Montréal, where those planes were originaly designed and built)
Great! No music, just Nature and turboprop. Thx! Thanks
the best music is sound of engines
Airmanship of a very high order. BRAVO!
That's some skilled agressive flying! Respect!
Thank you to Canada for making the CL-215/415 scoopers!
Nice to see an nations air force flying to fight except this time fighting fire. May all your pilots be safe and the end of the day.
Such an intense fight. Highly skilled pilots with excellent equipment. I have to mention that a number of pilots lost their lives, including my neighbor when I was a young boy, learning how to attack these fires as safely as possible. A lot of what we know today about aerial firefighting was learned the hard way by the pioneers fighting forest fires in British Columbia in the 1960s. Sadly as with all battles there are casualties.
Gledam i divim se nasim pilotima imaju srca i hrabrosti
Love the 415! Hats off to the pilots
Kapa dole našim pilotima, posadi i Kanađanima - konstruktorima tih aviona. Ovako vješto ne bih letio ni RC avionom :) Pohvala i snimatelju ;)
Edo snimak je top! Kakva vještina pilotiranja. Svaka cast!
I just found these planes today and holy cow, these are some of the coolest planes EVER.
The first production version flew in 1969.
You have to see them live! Once they flew so low over my house, i thought i could touch them
Большое спасибо этим лётчикам, блогадарья им ихним мастерством лаколизовли пожар 👍💯🙏🙏🙏
Great Job, God bless Croatian Air Force!
Greetings from croatian firefighter.. i watch them in Split 2017 in action.. its the best pilots in the World…
Great job from the pilots as well as the team on the ground. I wish you all the best.
Airmanship are heros.
Good job.
THOSE ARE DAMN GOOD PILOTS!
CROATIA ARMY PILOTS
The best! You know that when the Israeli airforce called them to instruct and train Israeli pilots.
It's a damn good plane.
brutalan video, hvala svim pilotima i vatrogascima na terenu
Although it is interesting and nice to watch these aircraft scooping up their loads; to see them dropping their loads and having a positive effect is even more so. The places the pilots sneak the aircraft into is amazing to say the least.
Hi im from North western Ontario🇨🇦 n theres alot active fires n out of control plus new ones almost every day..theres 3 active 2 new around our fly in village..so i salute to those who fly n bomb the fire..they slowed the fire a bit towards this evening..theyre heros and the best what they do...and it shows some rain on radar throughout our region..YESSS awesome job!!
That is some amazing footage, such a challenging sight to battle this fire! Glad they were able to get it under control and save those buildings.

A fleet of 10 of these planes would turn the tide on forest fires in California in a day at minimum loss of firefighters.
There are over 60 of these planes in Canada fighting fires.
I believe only 4 in the USA.
BTW, small counties like Italy, France, Greece, Spain, and Croatia have approximately 20 each.
@@actionhiro4222 Croatia have 4 CL-415 (and 12 air tractors with 4 new Fire Boss) but also sends own planes to neighbor countries, Italy, Bosnia, Montenegro. Greek and Israel when needed
@@dxdy1973 we have 6 CL-415
Ur not wrong with the oak fire in Yosemite
@@actionhiro4222 Your point is a good one. Just to correct you on something: None of the countries that you mention are ‘small.’ It’s simply that the USA is massive.
Some really good action here. Good work of these guys 👍👍👍
Fantastic pilots and aircraft doing great work.😃👌👏👏👏👏❤️
Super snimke. Svaka čast pilotima!
CRO Armi pilots 👍💪
Magnificent Video Quality. Excellent Piloting.
Najveći maheri! 🇭🇷
Wow supreme flying.
Really nice to see these birds in action helping out. 👍👍
ODLICNo si ovo snimio.svaka čast ,💪💪💪💪
Wow dude you got skills at filming those planes! Nice job +subscribed
this pilots have skills!!! I hope europe buy more firefighter planes to summer 2022
Truly attack aircraft, but for saving lives property and nature. Fantastic!
These Pilots are the BEST !!
Brilliant stuff, very interesting to see, thanks!
They should equip these Superscoopers with sirens, just to boost the morale of the ground forces while steep diving like that. 😁
Stuka sirens 😄
@ⰈⰀⰄⰑⰏⰔⰒⰓⰅⰏⰐⰉ Hahaha! 👍
Fire fighting planes do have sirens, they use them to warn people on the ground that they are about to get soaked with water and fire retardant. This video has the spotter aircraft in the lead the "bird dog" using its siren. ua-cam.com/video/K3bKeeNQOiU/v-deo.html
When they drop their water sometimes it looks like there is not more than 100m between them and the ground. the slightest mistake and theyre dead. Much respect for these Men and Women
RESPECT FOR ALL!!!
That is some fine flying!
Otac spottinga... 🏆
“Oh Canadair, we stand on guard for thee!” 🇨🇦
This has to be the best job in the World

I'm sure there is a lot of job satisfaction, especially when you save lives and property, but I fear the stress could shorten your life.

Wow! Now there's an aviation team!!
They Are Great At Attacking The Flames!
precision flying by experts
Did the engineers have to design a custom seat in the cockpit of the plane to accommodate the pilot's huge balls?
Yes, but it's standard in Québec.
This airplane was first designed in Québec, Canada in the 1960s
These pilots are hero, I would it be surprised if they crap their pants once in a while
Crazy skills
3:25 the best part all the planes just circling around the house
Balls of solid steel.
ماشاء الله.عمل محترفين باتم معنى الكلمة
what an amazingly awesome piolets
Thanks for this amazingly filmed video.
As the world's climate is changing and fires are becoming a major, destructive threat to the environment, property and the lives of humans and other animals, I keep on asking WHY is there not a huge production line cranking out these CL-415's in Canada and under licence elsewhere to equip so many countries with the ability to deal with the ever increasing destruction. I mean ... DUH! ... helicopters with buckets!!!??? Come on!!!
Agree

This has to be the closest thing you can get to a ww2 dive bomber in the 21st century
This airplane was first designed in Québec, Canada in the 1960s
If isn't broke...
This planes are life saving!
I believe France ordered some of these planes before they were built.
High lift wings with huge control surfaces and powerful turboprops. It''s a one trick pony but what a tremendous trick!
LOL 😃
I love the comment.
There is a multi-Mission role of this plane being built now.
Real heroes of Real Life
Odlican video!
BE-200 brothers, BE-200! From Russia, if you needed, i most gifted)
Heroes
Awesome stick & rudder skill!
Woow amazing video Edo! Nice work of the Croatian CL-415 pilots. In the same day here in Italy there was another big fire, look at on my channel, just uploaded the video, ciao 💪🔥💧👏
Theres beauty in everything well almost everything
That's great. for stop fire
Impressive machine.
Even more impressive pilots...it takes a ton of guts to fly like that!!! Respect.
Absolutely amazing!!
Toll und super Löschleistung der Feuerflugtruppe:-)))
Respekt
from the top looking down on these cl it looks slightly similar to the ac130
c130 no because they have even 4 engines.. but if you like to think that way they are more similar to the little brother c27 spartan
Try to do it in simulation game.... Those guys , are awesome...
they have to fly so risky maneuvers!
These planes are specifically designed for this role.
The pilots, ground crew, and the people who built these planes are all hero
@@actionhiro4222 true!!
impressive video
Great camera work
Thank You 😁
NO BRASIL NÃO TEM UM AVIÃO DESSE pra APAGAR OS INCÊNDIOS nas FLORESTAS
All of those firefighting pilots are absolute devils!
Wow!
It’s no good unless it has that pink and blue powder stuff coming down on the flames 🔥
our powder stuff is white
Its water and foam ! The coloured stuff if fire retardant fertilizer and water dropped from Tankers !
these people have huuuge balls of steel....
awesome cooporation
Wish i see this in California!
We dont have these ...line up to do the job.
Your funny that plane was just in California fighting a fire look it up
X SiTe DrOp X what’s the name of the plane? i want to research it some more
@@livwalsh3274 it is a CL-415 by Canadair. Originally designed and built in Quebec. Now being produced in Calgary Alberta and Victoria BC.
I believe there are 4 of planes in the US.
Over 60 in Canada
Can i join you, would be a dream cam treu .. Respect to you all.
Sure it’d be cheaper buying really long expensive hoses or water pumps all round hills
The thing costed $30 million dollars
I take it there's a bombardier on board so the pilot can focus on piloting that kind of landscape?
I believe the pilot does it all himself. It is just a button on the yoke. There is of course a co-pilot with equal skills.
Balls of Steel he said..
Just listen to that wind..
Imagine the turbulence generated on that cliff..
Great Pilots..
This isn't a job. This is the best video game in the world. Don't write anything about the art of flying, every job needs skill. It's just that some are more visible. I'd pay to do this "job" :D
Maximum Respect to the Pilots ,can someone tell how much Water they carry.
At 3:32 he is flying something that looks like a power slide 😲 amazing ,these guys got scils and cochones of course.
Imagine the plane trimmed to the left, and in that position making the Plane lighter by Tonnes of Water
Thank you.
These planes are CL-415, they carry 6,137 liters of water. And yes, they get 6 tons lighter in seconds when they dump!
5,000 litres per drop.
I M proud to be canadien
