This was a real eye catcher when it came out and is still my favorite generation of Camry. It’s boxier, aggressive look almost resembles a stock car going down the track.
@@user-ho1ih1uj6w you need glasses if you think this is the best looking camry 💀💀💀🤣🤣🤣. Best looking camry is the 1995 camry. Plus the latest generation 2018-present is also way better looking then the 2012.

We bought a 2012 V6 SE to replace a 2000 Avalon. HUGE UPGRADE in terms of horsepower and how it handles/drives overall, thing was a rocket ship, feels like Toyota under-rated the V6 horsepower. Also a big upgrade in terms of tech, bluetooth, touch screen navigation, stability control, more airbags, push button start, etc. However I liked the Avalon better, it was more of a land yatch, which is my style of car. Way quieter, lots more room, bigger trunk, interior was screwed together better, it was just a nicer place to cruise at 75-80mph for 500 miles at a time. Also the seats were mounted a good bit higher with larger door openings, made it very easy to get/in out of and more comfortable since you didn't sit on the floor like the 2012 Camry.
I think this model looks better than the new 2015 model... I like the edginess this one has. The 2015 model looks too plain, bland, and is lumped in with a bunch of other cars... at least the 2012 design looked different, haven't seen another sedan like it.
I agree with your reasoning. The fact is though the more bland it is, the broader the appeal. The worst model years for this car looks wise was the 2005 era design. blech
