    He didn't lose his cool at all... Did you even watch the match? He played magnificently through to the very end. You guys are nuts.

      Also, Rolex doesn't get nervous against M2K!

    I forget who it was against (I feel like it was Leffen) but Rolex was playing against a Fox on Skyloft and just absolutely bodied whoever he was playing against. IT was from Apex '14 and I can find footage anywhere; anybody know what I'm tlaking about or have a link?

    Yall keep calling Rolex a choke artist, what? It's like you forgot who he's playing against here. This is Mew2King we're talking about, here. There's not that many people who can beat him, real talk. Just the fact that Rolex doesn't get completely rolled is a testament to how good he is.

      Can confirm, I am a Snake main that has gotten completely rolled by Mew2King. He knows that matchup so well now.

    Hey question to anynone, does Ken who started the Ken Combo still play Smash or has he retired?

    • @GralofGaming
      @GralofGaming 10 років тому

      I wouldn't say he is retired although i am not huge into the professional scene he was at the super smash bros for wii u invitational tournament so i think he still plays smash. Can't have smash without the king of smash am i right?

      @Anebriate 10 років тому

      He plays again, but he was in retirement for so long that he isn't a top-level player anymore.

    Rolex doesn't lose his cool period. The only time he gets mad is after the match is over.

    Fox's up smash is unbelievable, they say it actually got nerfed a little from Melee. Can you imagine?

    This channel should edit the videos a little bit more. For the majority of viewers that aren't this good at SSB, a quick pause every now and then to show a slow motion replay of a significant event would be extremely helpful. Every match up I've seen, there have been at least three times where I can see that one of the players did something impressive, but I can't figure out what it is he did. I don't know, I think it'd make for a more entertaining video.
    Also, it would give you the opportunity to maybe clean up the audio. If everything is wired correctly, you should have the game and the commentators on separate channels. I can imagine how difficult it would be trying to do a play-by-play on hundreds of match ups and every game goes by so fast you can barely think. Why don't you just make a better recording before posting it on UA-cam? It would likely sound a lot more professional (especially when the alternative has constant moments like this 2:40 - 2:46). And if you want to keep getting sponsors, appearing professional matters.

      I can guarantee that "a majority" of the viewers know exactly what the players are doing (i.e. what moves they're using, which you seem to be asking?) and slow motion replays would completely compromise a game that has no breaks in action.

      ***** In general, if you want an event like this to succeed you need to try and expand the audience. Sure, players that take the game very seriously will enjoy the video as is. I've played Smash since I was a kid and I barely understood a single thing that was going on. I looked up a bunch of the terms and now I have a much better understanding, but the majority of people are not going to do that.
      The percentage of the video game community that's this intensely into smash is pretty damn small, so if you really want to grow your audience you need to make it more accessible to the general public. Maybe slow motion isn't the way to do it, but I don't see how it hurts the game. I meant edit in some slow mo for the important parts of each round, I'm not sure how that would ruin anyone's view of the match.

      I think thats a fun idea - like a basketball or volleyball game. However, there are just so many matches and sets, it would be really difficult to edit each of them like what you are proposing. There are many many videos on youtube explaining techniques and jargon with frame data, hit box data, percentage, angles, everything. Hopefully these types of tourney videos gets you hyped enough to actually learn what is taking place on the screen, and I think editing them, although an awesome idea, is a quite a bit out of budget. Its amazing that we even have these matches recorded at such a high quality (wii lacks HDMI cables which makes it annoying, as wiis have to be set up to CRT televisions to reduce input lag) with commentators and like 5 camera inputs as well as match scoring systems and everything. We're lucky we have that. When competitive smash started, the only record we had of lots of tourneys were just cell phone videos.

    He probably lost his cool. This isn't the first time M2K has denied Rolex of a top spot. This is probably the 7th time.
