It's important to know that ALL matcha products are good from a health viewpoint.
The ratings 'better' or 'best' are about artistic values --taste, fragrance, appearance.

The matcha I received in the sampler were all amazing. I highly recommend it to anybody interested in Matcha. The Green tea mega sampler also, which includes their matcha and leaf tea. I had almost an entire month of green tea that told a story across Japan all from the convenience of my office chair while I worked. Fantastic. Thank you Nio Teas for constantly providing such amazing quality tea :).

I have been getting into matcha these days. Mostly been ceremony grade matcha its a beautiful flavor. I recently got a matcha tea kit. My first ceremony matcha has such a natural sweetness. The color was so vibrant and beautiful. Even though there not cheap to buy its worth trying.

Thank you, I'm so glad you said that. I'm trying to convince people that this natural sweetness is worth it but I always worry that people are so used to sugary drinks that this premium matcha is a lost art :( I'm happy to know people still appreciate it

@@Nioteas Japan adopted the Motcha drinking culture and making method from ancient China, as back then there is no mature way to Processing the tea leaf, so the original way of drinking tea is to grind it into powder, then later on there is better way to process the tea leaf to give it more flavour and make it easy to store, so later in China, the Matcha is outdated, people start to drink more like nowadays, drink the tea and leave the leaf. Not to judge mordern day differentiations, but that's the origin of Matcha and mordern Japanese Motcha culture.

2:34 Also, the reason why the entrance to the tea room (Nijiriguchi) is so small like the rabbit hole in "Alice in Wonderland" is that everyone goes into the tea room, sits down, and has tea in the same way, ignoring their status. Merchants, samurai, peasants, and even Kampaku and Shogun, all as one person, enter the tea room and have tea ... In fact, there was a "sword rack" outside the old tea room. If the samurai wears a long sword on his waist and tries to enter from Nijiriguchi, the sword will be caught in the small entrance and he cannot enter. In the world of the Warring States period, was the tea room the only space where there was true contact between people without any social status?

Hint: LINE your stomach, Before drinking Matcha. Some people cannot handle Matcha on an Empty Stomach, but if they eat something first (usually a small sweet snack is ok)(or it could be your normal and usual Breakfast in the morning), pause (let the food digest for a short period of time), THEN have their Matcha, they usually don't feel any Upset Stomach. The Chinese are grateful to the Japanese for spreading Chinese matcha culture around the world. Chinese culture is amazing, very many, very beautiful and has a long long history, But most Chinese culture is spread by the Japanese, not the Chinese. • @SeaShell-q1j

Wtf are you talking about? If the Chinese were selfish, there wouldn't be scholars from Japan coming to China during ancient time to learn their way of life and brought Chinese food back to their country. Most Chinese culture is spread by the Japanese in MODERN TIME because that is ALL the west knows and think they know. Due to China going through opium wars with the west, civil wars, cultural revolution, and attacked during WWII, they were really poor and close off to the world. Not to mention, the west is not very fond of Chinese system so obviously they're not going to advise good things from China. Everything "good" from Asia is from Japan or South Korea to the west. Dude China literally have silk road to trade with their neighbor countries. Do some research. It's all over Google. I don't think the Chinese are that grateful when their stuff gets rebranded or no credits are given...lol. Not blaming the Japanese either but when they change the name from like Shabu Shabu which is like hotpot (started in China), people in the west just assumed it's Japanese.
