Hey guys and welcome to todays video.. How many fo the ingredients mentioned in this video do you already have in your skincare routine.. let me know below.. love you xx
I love my Algenist Genius Liquid Collagen. I got it as a Sephora sample and it laid around for a few months. Then one evening I decided to try it. I was hooked. It may be a waste of money but my skin has never looked or felt better. It makes me happy.
Hi hun, I think if it works for you then keep on using it.. I dont think it will do anything for the levels of collagen in your skin BUT it has many other benefits so its not a bad product at all.. love you xx
So good to get word out about collagen... it's such a misleading sc product. Pre-pandemic, i bought all my sc from an Australian store called Mecca - used to spend a small fortune there. Staff would always push hyaluronic acid, and collagen-based products such as elemis. Not sure if they really didn't know anything about sc, or they were directed to push certain brands... but when i look back on the misinformation that came out of there mouths, I feel really ripped off and a bit silly. One of the positives of the pandemic was my own deep dive into sc and finding channels such as yours Rob. Smarter, wiser, and have better skin for it. Thank you. ❤
Hey Rob, I've recently heard that slugging on top of products can highly increase and in fact maximize the impact of skin care products. What do you think of slugging on top of argireline - putting argireline and then e.g. vaseline on top? Would you recommend giving it a try?
I’ve used argireline for a couple years now. There’s only so much it can do and I’d think maybe it would work, but using it twice a day would be a lot of slugging. Maybe if you did it a few times a week with something else it would be worth it, but I almost always use an occlusive moisturizer every night (which may be slugging) and I don’t notice any difference between that and no moisturizer
Hi Rob I got a vitamin c nourishing moisturiser gel. At what time In a skin routine would you recommend ? I.e before or after something. Thanks again xx
Great topic Rob. I'm going to have to pick up that PSA Light Up mask--I love a good mask experience, and I want to see how the results stack up to the Allies vitamin c's.
I usually have all of these ingredients, but I ran out of Pycnogenol, and tbh I am TRYING to wait until the deciem sale to repurchase my products, BUT I don't know that I'll be able to wait until November... I actually have it, and copper peptides, in my Ulta cart right now. I just haven't pulled the trigger yet. 😬 I do continue to use Glycolic Acid since I tolerate it very well, and I do need that deeper exfoliant due to the scars I have from the accident. I use a lot of "acids." 😂
Folks from the USA, Do you now that there is a "SpaceNK" in some Walmarts and they carry "PSA" ?? I was shocked to see their full line up in my local Walmart.
If I’m using adapalene, do you think that is good enough for retinoids on my face? I do use the Avene retinal eye creme at night around my eyes as well. Love you! Xxoo
Hello beut, well done for ploughing through the overwhelming topic of skin care!!!!. So... I have eczema, sensitive prone skin and made the mistake of using vit c serum. Omg what a horror show!!!! I'm now in my 50s and have been trying to wade through changing my routine as skin ages, any ideas of a vit c formula that might work?? I'm looking into medicinal mushrooms ATM, to try and help with psoriasis on legs and trunk(came on all of a sudden), so any ideas on that would also go down a treat. I will keep sharing your Chanel to help friends to look into good formulations. Much love, Sam
How do I find your website with the newly packaged products. When I go to mad about skin website I arrive at the site with the jelly cleanser still in the tube and no choices for looking for products for dry skin, etc. I know you’ve repackaged the cleanser but it’s not showing
Copper has the side effect of dissolving collagen and that's why they use it to dissolve keloid scars. Add to that the increase in facial hair I am very cautious and only use 1x a week.
Is there a limit to how many different serums or products you can put on the skin? Every time I watch one of your videos I'm like "ooh I'd love to try that, and that, and that....." lol. I admit I am a bit confused 😂
Not at all! I use 3-5 different ones every night! I do use a mist after like the 2nd or 3rd serum to re dampen my skin then add the rest sometimes I’ll mix them depending what they are. I still see all the benefits of them using this way!❤
That’s literally what I just commented as well. A 5% or something isn’t going to do anything for collagen. And i think it’s undiluted glycolic at 10-20% which is hard to find. I’ve been using the 12.5% lactic acid from Cos de baha lately hoping it’s an actual 10% after all the other ingredient added to it. I wish I could do glycolic but it burns my face at the moment. Trying to work up to glycolic though. I have seen 15% lactic acid undiluted on Amazon (which I think that amount helps with collagen?)and kind of want to buy it but I get a little nervous at that percentage. I feel like one of the studies I read said 10% for glycolic but I could be completely wrong, is it 15%?
@@angelinebiswas7611 actually I can’t do it on the face either, as I use tretinoin and glycolic burns like the devil in this %. But my neck and chest can handle it, so I use it there 🙂
Hope you had a good weekend Rob! I have redness on my cheeks, I use tranexamic acid and the MAS serum as I know it has azelaic acid, but would you recommend a standalone azelaic acid? Xxxx

FYI, Hylamide is discontinued.
I always knew collagen in skincare was a gimmick but I do believe orally it works!
Hi hun, I think it does too.. sending you lots of love xx

I totally agree! My skin loves this stuff!
@@darcyb6678 If I don't use it a couple hours later in bed my skin doesn't feel the same. It's a product I will never go without.

I just want to thank you for all of the hard work you put into making these great videos! Love your orange bunny hug!
Oh thank you so so much hun and your support means so much to me.. love you xx
Thank you for this info!
What about drinking collagen? Does that help too?
Hi hun, it can help for sure though there are different types so its worth looking into it in detail before buying a supplement.. love xx
My doctor agrees - COLLAGEN CANNOT BE ABSORBED THROUGH THE SKIN. Great recommendations to protect the collagen that we have!
Love your honesty and knowledge of all these products. Keep it coming.
Thank you so so much for sharing hun and sending you so so much love

You look good in orange because it adds a little color to your face. Plus, you are like a ray of sunshine. Sorry. You're such a cutie. 🧡
3:11 you look amazing in this bright orange hoodie 🍊👍🏻
8:44 I mix two drops of Pycnogenol with 3 drops of the Caffeine solution.

Super helpful Robert, wow 🤩! Thank you! I love the idea of using that mask. I’m still struggling to incorporate vit C.
Wow didn't know that centella will boost vitamin c's efficacy xDD definitely gonna try using them together!

Hi hun, no official confirmation but I believe it will be in December or Jan after the November sale. love xx

I may be wrong, but I was under the impression that glycolic acid below 10% has no benefits in terms of collagen production…
Glycolic acid only boosts collagen production over 15-20%, according to quite a few studies😊

I was under the impression that Glycolic Acid has to be in a concentration of 10% or higher to get the benefits of boosting collagen...🤷♀️

Hi, love your channel! Could you please check the Beauty Formulas Retinol? I love it but is so cheap that I need to find out where the problem is.

Can I mix The Ordinary pycnogecol to my SPF, which I'm currently using as my main moisturizer at the moment? Thanks!
You shouldn't mix anything with spf as it can make it inactive!
