- It is no secret, that I have been a major Tesla fanboy ever since I first drove their Model S, way back in 2014.
They had just introduced the ludicrous mode and I was blown away by the jaw-dropping acceleration of that car! I mean 0-60 in under 3 seconds, that too in an all-electric car! For a petrolhead like myself, it was almost a spiritual experience.
I was convinced on that day that Tesla would become the most groundbreaking car company in America, and perhaps the entire world! And looking at Tesla's growth since that time, I wasn't wrong at all.
Until I drove the new kid on the block, earlier this month.
If you read the title of this video, I guess you already know which car I am referring to here. It is Lucid Motor's Lucid Air! - Розваги
you also forgot,the car is smaller on the outside but larger on the inside due to the miniaturized powertrain. since the motors are small and compact,there’s more overall cargo space,especially in the front trunk. you can probably do errands and still have lots of room to spare.

Manufacturing scale is what matters. Tesla has it, Lucid doesn't. End of story.
Accurate. Lucid is facing a Class Action right now as they (falsely) projected production operations and supply chain “challenges” to investors, and are currently struggling to satisfy production quotas.
That being said, if you do buy shares in Lucid now, 5 years onward you could have an amazing margin once they scale up.

Scaling production obviously is the a process to be done when the companie(s) has been in the businesses long enough. In technologies, if you are slower than others you will be behind! Lucid is a young start up company, just give it some time it will scale up it's production as it is expanding it's factories slowly and surely all over the world soon... One thing I am sure of is, Lucid won't scale down it's Quality like other EV just to get it's volumes of sales up! And while "other" is still stuck with it's old 400V system, the New Lucid 900V system will be the ONE that every others EV makers in the world are looking up to for benchmarkings... and those are FACTS!
@@logantp7698 Won't matter if they can't scale manufacturing profitably (which is incredibly difficult). How much runway does Lucid have with its current burn rate and expected sales....

Very nice car. We will have to stay tuned to find out if they can get through their production ramp. My only negative other than price is that fugly rear trunk. Rest of the car is nice. Too bad it's not a hatchback.

I think Lucis still a young start up company... with handful productions (but great quality)..and Tesla just too big comparing to Lucid...which is the only one "rival"... Lucid is just too...small, barely enough to kill Tesla gradually with it's crushing techology... Great video, very offensive information....LOL...

The Saudi's CEER EV comes with a built-in EVBS, and that's not Electric Vehicle Bull S_it... EVBS = Electric Variable Bone Saw. It plugs 🔌 into the car like Rolls-Royce has an Umbrella that sticks in the door. You slide it out, it's already charged and ready for those tough cutting jobs.
Tesla is like the Apple of EV car manufacturers. They don't have to worry about anything and Telsa is years ahead of any competition.

Lucid isn’t in the prototype stage anymore. they are actively producing and shipping out cars while also rapidly constructing the AMP 1 factory at the same time.competition is good for the market. lucid will produce at scale in the future while also paying attention to quality :)
Well, I am not sure if you understand anything about Manufacturing... but...whether Prototype is "easy" or not... all Lucid's prototypes have just beat the hell out of the TOP and the most powerful and mass production Model of Tesla company: the top of the line of all Tesla car, S model hand down on every aspects... Quality, Tech, Range and...much Faster too (vs quick)!

It's interesting to ponder what new car companies will become apparent over the next 10 years with the advancements taking place at Tesla. Seeing the new Nissan line made me very excited for me EVs

@@rontribbey5510 Not only GM, Ford but the whole market. Altho GM and Ford only about 1% in the last 5 days, most EV including Tesla dropped 8-9%. So.. It's telling me that Tesla hit the "ceiling" while Lcid and Rvian... all hit the bottoms, and thats the different!

Your totally wrong, the battery sizes are not the same and Lucid is not really saying much about battery size. You really underestimating Tesla genius in every aspect. They are moving and innovating very quick than you could imagine. "Prototype are easy" " machines that build machines. If I were you I would take off the video because it's going to damage your information credibility while everyone can see how far Tesla is and how difficult is catch up. I am not saying Lucid is not a brilliant car. I am not saying praise Tesla either. But facts are written on the walls. Your ignoring facts like mainstream media.
