Thanks for the report Nick. Scattered showers here in Port Aransas, cool temperature now. Im seeing the Pelicans working the bait in the second gut, so i hope to have a good day fishing.

Hi Nick! Alaways nice to know what the weather will bring!
Fished at gulf Shores last year, They were rebuilding the beach so my surf fishing was a bust, but I fished the inlets and learned how to really catch flounder before the season closed on them.
I caught about 35 of them using my 2wt Sage fly rod blank converted for a spinning reel using 6 lb Florocarbon line. The secret is stand up jigs using Gulp white paddle tails and giggle and drag instead of jigging, I hope this helps some people.
