What Is The Hot Bait To Catch Striper With At The California Aqueduct

So as you all know my favorite place to fish is the California Aqueduct. As the seasons change so does the bite as well as the bait of choice. One day they will be feeding on shad and the next they seem to swim right passed it. One of the many challenges of successfully fishing the aqueduct for striper is knowing or finding out what they prefer to eat at different times of the year. Lately it has been grass shrimp that they cant say no to. And I will be bringing grass shrimp to the tackle stores here in Bakersfield very soon just waiting for my first shipment to arrive. As always I came to the Freeborn gates in Bakersfield Ca armed with my Okuma arsenal, my fav 2 reels are the ITX 3000 series and the Wave Off 3000 series both matched with the Reflexions rod.
