You just made me feel very old and nostalgic! I could have been the lady that carried that purse 30 years ago! 1984 was the year after I graduated high school. I was in college and at the end of that year I got married! Remember the Louis Vuitton bags and this print so well. I had a “knock-off” bag with this same print. Lol
This college kid and newly married girl could not afford the real thing. 🤣

I know this video is a couple of years old, but I just wanted to say how cool it is to see someone appreciating not just the brand, but some of the history. I have a couple of vintage LV bags as well as a vintage Prada and Burberry. I tend to like bags with more understated presentation, and sometimes you see that more in bags that are older.

That's a great bag, and I love the story! My mom gave me her first LV ten years ago and I love it so much. My husband has bought me several LV's over the years, but the one from my mom is definitely the most special to me.
That bag was probably one of the very first LV bags I ever saw and learned what it was. Cool story about the champagne!! My mom loved coach when I was a kid so I have two of her bags. Never occurred to me they were vintage! I also have my great aunts basket purse from probably the 60’s.
That's purse is absolutely beautiful! Also, how about doing a video of what you carry in a bag for the kids.

I love vintage Louis Vuitton pieces, I have a couple myself. I adore the way that they age and maintain their beauty over the years. People are often shocked when they find out the age of my vintage pieces. Great video and beautiful bag!
I’ve had gastritis off and on for years and warm green tea (actual tea bag) has helped me more then meds. Granted nothing makes it completely go away.
My purses are all Michael Kors. Finally just got a backpack purse for my anniversary last year. Love it. A Louie bag would be nice to have also but really haven't broken down yet and picked one up.. Everything is too expensive.

I love that you tried to find a bag from the year you were born. And, even better that it holds special meaning with Noah’s name. I’ve always had a love for Kate Spade but have never had one of her bags, just other products. Now I want to find one that was made the year I was born or before. I don’t feel old enough to have a bag that would be considered vintage given my age. But, it would be really neat. Purses are also the only designer item I’ve ever been interested in having.

Ha Angela!! I’ve always loved purses too, could care less about designer shoes or clothing. It’s the purses, I care for!! My first was a Coach also, when my daughter was about 3 weeks old. Not a push present though. We were in Vegas, and I win $700 on the quarter slots, only by putting $20 in!! The next day, I went to the Coach Outlet in Vegas, and bought my first Coach. The fact that 1989 was 30 years ago, is crazy to me!! I graduated in June of 1990, maybe when you were in kindergarten?? Lol, I love my sweet girlfriends of ALL ages!! I have learned so much from you, and all the sweet Christian ladies here on YT! And of course, I love your bag!!! Very pretty. I got a new DB just a few days ago, and am loving it.
I kind of giggled a little at the banana, since in one of your earlier “What’s in my Bag” videos, you mentioned there may be a squished banana in the bottom. I hope it didn’t cause any marks on the inside of the bag. 😘😘💜❤️

I hope you're able to get to the doctor and try to get your stomach issue figured out. That can't be fun and you shouldn't suffer from it needlessly. Prayers for you. I'm not much of a purse person, I like a well made leather purse that lasts me for years (I don't like change). It's nice to see that other women don't have perfectly organized purses either.

Fun :) I would love to see non drying makeup favorites. Specifically lip products. I am a busy mom with super dry lips. And I can't find a good, long lasting, every day lip product that doesn't dry out or look terrible on dry lips.

Just be careful buying bags from eBay if you don’t have a ton of experience with the brand you are buying. They are notorious for having a ton of fakes listed and people get scammed all the time. Doing research on the bag takes a little time and effort but it is obviously worth it!
I've purchased all my lv's from ebay. I've been buying/selling/collecting lv's for a decade now. The Japanese are the best when it comes to buying an authentic Louis vuitton. But you're right. One must be careful purchasing a bag from the site.
@@Moon11067 for sure! I've also bought two LV handbags from eBay but they were online boutiques vs independent sellers. The videos of people who spend thousands on a bag to find out it's fake have me so scared!!
@@mbs949 I buy mine from the Japanese stores on ebay. I had taken a chance dealing with a seller who wasn't Japanese. I had purchased an lv tivoli gm from a seller in Australia. When I pulled the bag out the box, I knew it was a fake without having to exam it. To make a long story short, I got my money back and she her bag. Never again will I deal with someone who's not Japanese.
