- Our Americanism is perhaps never more evident than when we are on a road trip and inevitably stop at McDonald's for food. It's like a shot of nostalgia for childhood! And while we don't normally eat fast food, we had to add this particular McDonald's to our New Zealand road trip because it is literally the coolest McDonald's in the world.

The plane is a "MacDonald" Douglas airplane from the US. He helped designed alot of planes and jet fighting planes for the US airforce around the early,mid 60s
so much fun. and a little scary. glad everyone was ok.. and yes that MDs was the coolest ever

With 2 kids I don’t think that guy should have told y’all to take that trail. I think the “boring” trail would have been better. Glad everyone was ok tho!!
