i have kept the layout but have changed it and now its double track main line DRGW Colorado mountains and all new towns that reflect Colorado. 1950s look. Neil will film some new videos soon.
Mr. Smith's layout is superb. I didn't realize how beautiful the paint schemes were. The steam is total Brute! This gentleman's work in capturing a prototype is spot-on for sure. Thanks for the share!
Beautiful work, Darrel. It's been a long time since I've been to Longview but i'm just east of Dallas so not too far. You don't happen to have any archival pictures of MKT's line that ran through downtown Carrollton, do you? I have been looking for some to work on a second right down the street from where I grew up but am having trouble finding photos of how the lines and buildings looked around the old Blanton grain silo late 70's through the 80's.
I grew up I east Texas so it's wild to me seeing all these little towns that I used to live in or pass by be made in model form. Cheers!
