Darrel Love your rail road. My grandfather was a car inspector for the MP in South Texas in Brownsville Tx. My aunt worked for the bus division of MP in Brownsville. I saw your Greyhound bus. Possibly you would be able to model one on your layout. My father was a fireman on the MP until they got rid of them in the late 50s. My uncle was an engineer for SP in San Jose, Calif. I'm a big fan of TP and MP. Keep up the good work. Excellent video.
i have kept the layout but now a new look. im now doing DRGW in the 1950s with rock cliffs of Colorado and towns that reflect Colorado in the 50s. the new double track main line really adds to the action. Neil will film some new videos soon.
Great looking layout. Love the East Texas Area. I am transplants from West Texas.. But I am Texas & Pacific Guy . I am in O Gauges with The Loblolly Hi Railer. You can check us out easttexas-modeltrains.org.
Oh man, I used to have a T,&P layout.

Those passenger F´s look good! Congrats to the person who painted and decaled the T&P heavyweight cars!
But those locos didn't have steam generators--maybe not needed in Texas summers, but the dining car needs some.
Amazing video and layout!
Viola! Diesels arrived, steam is gone. Still a great layout.
