Another thing about Sloukas is that at the beginning of the 2023-24 euro league season he was voted the most overrated player of the league at your survey with 23 Europeague players published on 24 October 2023. I think he gave some pretty convincing answers with his performances this year and off course his mvp performance in the final.

Offensively Sloukas did a great job this year. In this f4 he stepped up compared to previous years where he was averaging 8 pts. He was mentally very prepared. Defensively he is not that great and the effort he gave in the finals in offense was that big that he could not follow in defense. But still, his shots were crucial and enough to win the game!

If Olympiacos had won the Euroleague title this year, we would be praising coach Barzokas. Instead, PAO won the Euroleague... and if PAO also wins the A1 Greek league then Sloukas definitely made the right decision.

He is soooo cool. I'm kinda bummed he wasted his time on Olympiakos, where his full potential wasn't utilized.
It's a case similar to Spanoulis. He wanted to be the leader of the team , but Olympiacos did not gave him the time.
Of course, Spanoulis deserved it as he won MVP in final four with Panathinaikos in 2011 title, in contrast with Olympiacos that last year had the machine gun Vezenkov, but anyway...

It is too early to place Sloukas's move next to Spanoulis's. Spanoulis moving to Olympiakos changed the course of European basketball, while this, albeit successful, is still Sloukas's first year. It's nice to be hyped, but it's even nicer to have some perspective too.

Slukas is a good player but Naan is the game changer for this team , he gives a lot of wins on regular season.
Naan is a type of flatbread, the name is Nunn, lol.
I think one couldn't do it without the other, they were both crucial for that team. As a guard duo they're probably the best in Europe right now.
of course! GREAT Nunn. but on EuroLeague the rookie was Nunn. next year this will change obviously because Sloukas get old.......
That is our hope ! If Nuun gets effected a little more by his teammates and embrace the european style and add to his game a little more defending attitude
to his play style , and of course if he stays in europe , we will be talking about the best guard in europe next year .
I will give you this idea . Imagine Nuun with his excelent mind , readings skill and his shooting ability and rates , combined with the defensive mentality of Kalaitzakis ! God may help them all !

Kostas Sloukas got revenge angainst his former team and against Mr Bean who disrespected him thinking that Walkup will replace him and having him play only 15 minutes. Shows to you that there is justice against evil.
The bad thing with walkup is not only he is no that good but also he maybe score 20 points one game and the next nothing but of course Sloukas is better

Talk about revenge IF he ever gets one over his former team, be it the Euroleague or the league. Williams-Goss is the actual replacement of Sloukas, not Walkup. Also, nobody can be above the team and 'Mr Bean' is protecting that mentality.
