Hi Ronald, The Sedbergh pilot here 😉. Thanks for this nice and informative film of our Sedbergh. Feel welcome to fly with us and film the flight from the cockpit.
Good day Ronald. I love flying our club K-13 as well. In my opinion, it’s the best soaring ship (and the most underrated one) of our fleet. It was always available because everyone else wanted to fly the L-23 and Puch, so I never needed to wait for a turn to fly. I have to give credit where due: Schleicher makes great sailplanes!
Never had a problem getting our RAF Sedberghs onto the ground without excessive side-sllipping at RAF Sealand, and the air brakes were perfectly adequate for the job. Perhaps you need some instruction on flying vintage gliders?
So, a bit silly saying the spoilers aren't effective 🙄 😂. Well, your reply is v. honest. So, good man. Would you believe we used to loop-the-loop in these barges?! 😳 Seriously, quite an experience when you've just around 1,000ft of altitude. Nice video. Thanks for posting.
Haha, leuk. Ik zet hem op de ZES groepsapp. ☺️

It was my favorite twoseater before I joined ZES... It was magic to fly it again after 41 years....

I was just filming - never flew one...
