10 Months down the road, having watched so many videos on Ebay, Amazon, Paytreon , reselling advise, and so forth, I have found your videos to be amazingly entertaining for our age group. Being from South Africa we don't have the luxury of easy item sales like in other countries, but have to say listening to you gives me more ideas on how to get into the vibe and get the ball rolling. Love your transparency. We do the same. The eBay buyer wants lower cost items. We post our sales monthly as well and find low price high value works well. Not every eBay shopper can do luxury items.
Didn't realize you're from NE Ohio until months after I subscribed. If you're ever working on your shop or listings remotely and want someone to bounce ideas off of for Etsy, let me know! To my surprise, I've had luck growing my Etsy shop over the past 8 months but even I have designers block from time to time and I find that even working side by side with someone helps with inspiration, learning and just bouncing ideas around. I find shipping stuff everywhere as I’m sure you do but I only sell about 20,000$ a year right now so I actually find enough that my only shipping cost is labels and poly bags.

I went to garage sales with 5 kids when they were young and they loved it because I let them buy toys. I still take my grandson on days I’m babysitting him. Sometimes he sits in the car and plays on his iPad and sometimes he shops. He’s 9.

Heather, out of all the UA-cam resellers I only watch your videos. I am curious, what is the cost in 2023 for items you purchased, but ended up having to donate or throw away because they ended up being broken or for some other reason.

Ebay always recommends something absurd, you can do just fine at a lower percent unless you have a lot of competition.

He does but he has a full time job outside of reselling
