I got my hair strengthen this week too and my scalp felt like it was burning from the flat ironing and my scalp is still sore today, (I have Reflex Sympathetic dystropy which one of the symptoms is hypersensitivity so that’s problem why my scalp is so sensitive to the burning), but yea I probably won’t be straightening again lol, ill have to find another why to get my hair properly trimmed cause that was the only reason why I straightened it was to get all the damaged hair off.

Jaleesa your hair looks good! She did a great job! I haven't flat ironed my hair in about 4 years. But I lived in Florida and as soon as I walked outside it would get frizzy and puffy. That Florida humidity is relentless! Lol😀
It's so crazy how old shrinkage can make her hair look extremely short but when we blow it out it's like you got a totally different person but being natural and trying to understand maybe my hair won't be long but just try to take care of the link I do have and showing love for my hair.
I wish naturals would stop acting like heat is kryptonite. Lol I've been natural 7 years & been a natural hair model for 5. The hair will be fine. Too much of anything isn't good for us. I straighten my hair once quarterly & have a head of healthy 4b/c hair. & I do it myself
