@@quanghuynguyenang8455 the Abrams weights about 70 tons fully loaded . Thats a Tiger 2 weight
There are some photos of a bunch of t10s being transported towards a tank factory being circulated. Don't get your hopes up though, Russian army has more 125 mm barreled tanks then they can produce ammo, and a huge stockpile of every other caliber tank shell, so most likely it's intended to be used as mobile artillery, much like the intent was with older 115mm and 100 mm tanks.
Bro activated double caps
The Challenger 2 is not exactly a light weight!
it'd be dumb to go around claiming it's a T-10M since we haven't even seen T-55's actually being used as tanks yet (litteraly only 1 example documented as a loss so far)
it's safe to assume Russia would first use up T-55 and T-62 tanks of all variants before digging into their ww2/early post-ww2 stockpile of tanks
T-10s were kept as tank reserves (aka oh fuck our favourites just got incinerated in nuclear fire but I have a dinner date in West Berlin at 8PM level of tank for when there is literally nothing better left to reinforce with) and T-10Ms would still be in okay ish condition due to how long they were kept in active reserve up until like the 90s, so both them and T-55s/62s would be in vaguely similar shape, disregarding the fact that T-55s and 62s were kept as reserve longer or even rebuilt for export recently
@@domaxltv thing is
T-55 and T-62's are way capable as tanks nowadays than T-10's are in any way.
Furthermore, they're also very much upgradeable with modern tech (thermal imagery, APFSDS, ERA armor packs such as the M-1 variants)
Such an upgrade does not exist for the T-10
T55s are not used as MBTs at the Front anymore by Russia, they have a huge Stock of 100mm so they use them as cheap Artillery Support Vehicels since they are better protected than modern SPGs who have max. 40 mm Armor (at the Front) while T55 have 30mm Top Armor and 220-120mm around the Turret and 100mm-60mm-40mm at the Hull Front/Side/Back.
They fire 15kg HEs from 4-14km away, they know that the T55 with only Steel Armor cant do anything.. Ukraine is actually the one using T55s as Makeshift MBTs.. but even with some modernisations and ERA they are pretty much outdated by now on the Frontline.
@@Sheppart92The russians also used them as suicide car bombs, hopefully unmanned but knowing how little bunker grandpa cares about his people I wouldn't be shocked if some poor ethnic mobik or convict slave was forced to drive the thing. The video of one being sent towards Ukrainian lines only to get stopped by a mine and detonate with FAR more boom than it would if it wasn't crammed with explosives when it was hit by an ATGM.
Never understood why people so often try to deflect to Ukraine using something old as a way to excuse russia, because Ukraine never sold itself as anything more than a backwater former soviet slave-state trying desperately to claw out of moscow's chains while russia acts like it is a world power capable of trading with all of NATO in a modern high-tech war. If the US had to deploy Patton tanks because they lost so many Abrams in war with Mexico everyone would be laughing at them. The fact people try to sweep the fact we have more visually confirmed russian tank losses than all but 10 other nations have tanks in total is hilarious to me, and the fact visually confirmed losses are maybe 1/3rd of actual losses (Especially if you include losses due to mechanical failure) meaning the actual number of losses is almost certainly above what even the US fields makes that even more hilarious.
I'm aware, hence why i wouldn't believe anyone saying they're using the T-10 even without the video being debunked in depth@@Sheppart92

T-64 would never going that fast due to its underpowered engine, that more likely from a gas turbine engine
@@adillakandi.r well in fact what I said is just my thoughts on the matter... the T-64 may have a 700HP engine but still manages to reach a speed of 60km/h... honestly IN MY OPINION... it's rare that a T-80 is used in this way... given that it is one of those few weapons that Russia can really support and make a difference on the ground... It could also be, I can't say no... about it I can't say anything concrete... since we don't know the location of the tank or the reason... perhaps it's possible that it was running towards the front line... or that it was trying to break through the front line ...but according to the manuals such a thing would not be possible given that the ground support placed at the sides is completely missing... but these are just my guesses.

So there is at least 1 T10 in Ukraine thats confirmed, but I highly doubt it'll ever be used other than artillery. (Edit, nevermind I was wrong, it was an old museum video)
Any source to look, it could be just a T10 moving around for a monument and some ukrainian propaganda makers decided to tell everybody that its going to the front
@@kuunoooo7293It was debunked around the time when the video went "viral". The T-10 is the tank that sits as a monument in the Saur-Mogila memorial which is being repaired after being damaged in 2014
The original video was taken from a guy who shared it on tik tok and talked on how there was a chance to make it functional again but at the moment it was moved because it was on the way of the repair work
what's the big surprise? the orks have Grot Tanks, welded together from battlefield scrap! (excited gretchin noises)
On 1:45 not T-62, it's experimental T-62B with autoloader and small diameter T-72 type tires
Т10 Сняли в 1993 году с хранения и отправили в утиль.
Even if it is those are still mobile guns
Id already would have brought them out
The t54/55 series has a 100mm the t10 has a 122mm gun
Those arent small guns still for specific roles and if even rigged to be RCd they are perfect for conserving the conventional arms at hand
Could it be possible that Russia is using "Franken Tanks"? Just taking different parts from different tanks to make a new one?
Its been common practice since the tank was first employed. Just look at all the variants made from the NATO/Western designed M47/M48/M60 tanks.
but did the tank survive 2 mines?
It's not surprising a T80 can take 2 tank mines and keep going.
It's surprising the Challengers and the Leos couldn't. Just saying. If you want to mald, feel free.
If you ignore the literal hundreds of Russian tanks lost to even single mines your statement almost makes sense
@@_lo8241 as with most Leopards an a Challenger, tanks just get disabled from AT mines most of the time. Tank driver dying is already an achievement for most mines.
But tanks often get disabled in an open space within artillery or sometimes even ATGM range, making them almost impossible to recover and easy to be finished off (both sides often do not finish off immediately trying to attract recovery vehicles).
@@_lo8241 But a note about Leopards - their track contain rubber and are more susceptible to catching fire due to AT mine explosion, dealing heavier damage to vehicles and increasing the probability of it being disabled. Also thicker base armor of sides and belly help soviet-style tanks survive ATs a little better (but the difference is not that big)
@@_lo8241I'll have to inform you that the majority of Russian tanks did not, in fact suffer mobility kills (what you should expect from a mine) due to mines. Russia has lost a lot of armored vehicles, mostly BTRs and infantry carriers true, and most of those were due to drones, artillery and missiles.
The only tanks in the war so far to suffer humiliating levels of loss to mines are the Western ones.
Again, feel free to mald at the OSINT community for not lying.
@@Anonymous_Man thats insane mental gymnastics, several thousand eastern block tanks lost= no problem. But literally 6 Leopards and 1 chally (a total of 7 tanks) being lost= humiliation. And im the one coping? I love idiots exposing themselves without being prompted.
Благодаря 122мм нарезной пушке, Т-10, можно использовать как приличную САУ.
Im not pro-russian but thats a little bit too fast for a t-10
