My mom had an intex pool growing up and I loved it and missed it. I am in the process of buying my first home. Would love a backyard to put something like this in!
I think you put the wrong link because the link is for 24ft pool not 18 or maybe you purchased the 24ft and put the wrong title because the pool is pretty big
Hi~ I just purchased this pool and haven’t even gotten it out of the box yet as we live Upstate New York and it’s still quiet cold! I wanted to ask where you got the ladder that is in the video? I have 3 GranGirls that will be comin to spend the summers and the 3yr old is the one I think that blocking feature would be so nice to have to keep safe!
Great setup, I have just purchased the same pool here in the UK and currently waiting on delivery. I am going to purchase a heat pump for it though as our climate is not as temperate!! All the very best :)
Hey there Matt Cook. I've just set up my 15' round 42" high Intex prism pool for the UK summer 2020. I have a 10KW SunSpring heat pump for my pool and it works a treat. Investigate the Intex saltwater system too, it does aways with the need to dose the pool with harsh chemicals and makes maintenance a breeze
I’ve been looking to get one but have limited space. 9’x18’ would fit but not much wiggle room beyond that. Do you know how much further the vertical poles stick out beyond the 9’ width?
Hi Jasmine, Can I ask you couple things on this set up? I see that you placed it on top of your grass... Did you level it up? Did you place it directly above the grass just with the ground cloth? By now how is it treating you? thank you in advance
I think with the pandemic and people planning to spend more time at home this summer, pools have sold out in a lot of places so demand is driving up prices. The pool we bought last summer is like 3-5 times the price we paid. So when you can even find one in stock, they're crazy overpriced right now.
It’s definitely because of the pandemic that the pool prices skyrocketed. I had been looking to buy an above ground pool last year and had various options at good prices. Saved them and decided to buy this year and the pool prices had exploded upwards. Good time to own a pool business.
Hey did you have to ship it to the UK or their were some already available in the UK? Because I am in the US but want to buy it so I can ship it to my family in Africa
Hi there. I too just bought one and think it’s the cats meow!! However, I put concrete tiles under the pool legs as you did, and one of them cracked. I think the manual suggests pressure treated wood. The guy at Home Depot refused to cut it for me and told me to get the concrete tiles. Have you heard either way which is better???
I have the 32 x 16 version and I also put concrete pavers and most of them cracked. I am nervous as hell. It's been up for 2 days and we are in Georgia where the clay is supposed to be so hard but when it rains, its mud. Some of the cracked pavers may be sinking. It looks fine and seems sturdy but the paver that is sticking up the worst is on the corner. Do you think I should be so worried?
I live in a state where we have pretty harsh Winters Intex would never survive I would have to take it down every summer My water bill would be $300 every year I have a soft side Legacy pool I've had it for 15 years never have to take it down I only have to tank the water every 6 year
@@jasmineadams9286 Just the comment that it is an inexpensive fun pool. Since CV prices have sky rocketed. They're about double the price now. Topping over 2 grand is now pretty expensive unless the longevity is good.

Did ladder your showing come with it?
You have rhe wrong title, this isn't 18 feet long. It's 24 x 12 x 52.
Intex never disappoints, they make great quality products.
My wife was able to find a 12x24 on Walmart last month. Paid $1,100. Hope to have it ready the first weekend of June.

Love this pool, we have had ours for twelve years, and developed our first pin hole today. We are sad to see the out of stock listings!
what did you do with the pool during the winter? do you drain it and take it down?
12 years dammit money well worth
Did you repair it or does it need replacement?
I think you put the wrong link because the link is for 24ft pool not 18 or maybe you purchased the 24ft and put the wrong title because the pool is pretty big
I’ve been watching pool videos all night. Just noticed this video has the same audio as the one I linked LOL ua-cam.com/video/ucGqc03hSkQ/v-deo.html
How often do you do water changes? Does it come with a cover?
Did the sides bow in the pool? If so did it go away when filling up all the way?
Right mines bow in also. I am currently at the half way point also. Did yours straighten out after fully filled !?!?

Hey Matt Cook, check out my setup of the 10KW SunSpring Heat Pump in my other channel...
Do you have to get pool sand or any sand under the floor cover? Like traditional pools need!
I’ve been looking to get one but have limited space. 9’x18’ would fit but not much wiggle room beyond that. Do you know how much further the vertical poles stick out beyond the 9’ width?
10'10" X 19'10" per their website. That is the frame footprint.
We just ordered one like this, but it wasn't under 1,ooo. Can't wait.
If you build a deck around it you can make it look modern and beautiful.
Did the timer you mentioned come with the pool?
What is the width on this pool? Please and thank you ❤
24ft x 12ft x 52in
In addition, there are many sizes for you to choose from
Great video. What about heating? Does it come with a heating system or did you buy one?
Hi Jasmine, Can I ask you couple things on this set up?

1000dlls? The ones that I see right now are like 3000

Great review. I have also just purchased one for use in the UK. Could I ask where you got your ladder from please I want one!!
Hey did you have to ship it to the UK or their were some already available in the UK? Because I am in the US but want to buy it so I can ship it to my family in Africa
I'm not sure if you replied to this but where did you get the ladder?
Great review ... thanks!
If you don’t mind sharing which ladder and volleyball net you have, that would be much appreciated!!
The XTR ultra is much better than the regular intex pool.
It's almost 3,000. now. Serious inflation!
I just purchased a 18x9x52" off of Amazon for $1,699. They have limited stock, so if you are looking, now is the time.
I saw one in Canadian dollars for 9,999 so technically 1000 just keep looking you can find cheaper ones
Walmart has it for that price at 1299

Going buy this, set it underground with a deck!!!!!
Why are you talking about a round pool while showing a rectangular pool ?
It seems to be no competition for Intex XTR on the market
Thanks for a great review! Where did you get the steps? Can’t seem to find similar for less than $500. Thanks!
$3700 now on Amazon!!! Yikes!
Don't use salt it Rust the rails around top💯💯
Thanks for a very good review
that's the 24ft x 12ft x 52in rectangular pool.. just sayin'..
Yeah and there's a video titled "Intex 18ft x 52in Ultra XTR Pool Review 2021" by Darla Moss that's the same exact audio... 🤔🤔🤔

If that collapses say goodbye to your house
What a nightmare
I think is out of stock 😵😵
Yup I just received mine. Look at Amazon

Not anymore!
What is no more?
