In my opinion, Polo wrote this song from the perspective of him if he didn’t make it being a rapper. His best friend was killed, he was born in Cabrini Green in 1999 and his family is known by Pop Out. Hence, his hit song Pop Out. The difference is that he never found the people who killed his best friend
