I'd blackout the front end for the contrast. Maybe black fender flares, running boards, body molding. The contrast is really nice. Ps I had a 97 2500hd Sierra diesel. It was a tank. Never should have sold it
I have an all black sierra slt lmm with 79k mi on it 9” cst lift and 37” tires …..i put updated tail lights and headlights and…switched the chrome rims to black mesh style wheels…..as for a programmer stay away from edge they are garbage….i gotta h&s minimax that lets you delete if you want but you dont need too, but i recommend the h&s minimax tuner it woke my truck right up and i have no problems burning rubber at all green lights on dry asphalt …..it lights up the tires with ease…..the problem with edge tuners is it will tell the trans to shift into 2 gears at once……then if your lucky and close to home you can limp it….otherwise your looking at a $7k trans job minimum…….but yea i love my lmm and was on the fence of getting a newer duramax but the lml’s are garbage and the l5p’s or whatever their called are even more garbage…..so i just gave my truck a face lift with updated lights front to back and got new wheel and tire combo….alot cheaper than spending $75+ k for a new(er) truck that is completly stock and looks like a grandpa owns it…….i bought mine with 25k mi on it maybe 9 years ago from a guy that had over $100k into it……i stole it for $44k…….i could probably still get $45k for it all day long
I went with the JL-Audio Stealth Box for my back seat (SB-GM-SLVCC2/12TW3/BK) and it sounds amazing. I don't see to many people going this route. over 3 years old and still moving some air.
Just bought a 2009 with 147k miles on it. Have to replace injectors and should be good to go hopefully! But is a nice truck! I have big plans for it. Should I make videos on the build?
