For the full Raw Black Metal experience watch this Video on 144p
🤣🤣🤣
And with that white speakers that came with the computers in early 90's
i actually did it exactly that way
This type of comment is not funny anymore.
@@VVilkacy This was not a joke.
For extra rawness: Place the mic outside of your house.
In the woods at night
Lmfao
Inside of a dead corpse
You forgot the total random 8min Dungeon Synth Burzum rip off Part at the end of the 1min BM Song!!!!!!! 🧛⚔️
he's saving that for the xasthur tutorial
"Dungeon synth"
It’s unfortunately true and I unfortunately love it
"This is the second guitar. I guess?"
Lolol. Got so hammered while recording, you had a guest featured on this track, and have no idea who it is.
RAW video for a RAW song for a RAW black metal, hell yeah
the quality is so raw that gordon ramsey can be heard screeching about how its fucking raw within the amps
I love that I can hear guitar in my left earphone and the vocals in the right
The Second part of the song is absolut fire ngl😂
Hell yeah! Would 100% listen to that song
Fenriz disapproves
You used a metronome.
I tried mapping out a DT song once... Started a year ago and still not done.
The Zoom H2n is such a powerhouse of low-budget black metal production. Unironically an excellent recorder, I've used it for recording rehearsals, vocals, my friends' concerts. I bought it after you showed it during one of your videos years ago so I must thank you.
Mate I'm pretty much new to this type of stuff and can you you use zoom h2n to record everything for a solo bm project?
@eternal327 yes. You can use it for pretty much everything. It's very basic but for our genre that's perfectly fine.
"Its right under Hilfsmittel" 😂😂😂😂 ich hau mich weg. Und dann klingt das auch noch geil. Nice jobcenter
I love your extreme vocal technic in this video
you had me at Hilfsmittel! 🤟
_wanted to write smth funny but dude, I didn't know you became a Solar artist, congrats!!_
It's a good day when Farvann uploads
Thanks for the Sign of an Open Eye bit, one of my favorite Gorgoroth songs of all time. Awesome vid, as always, keep it up!
I laughed my ass off at the sign of the open eye playing with the atmospheric spray😂😂
Also, beer is most definitely mandatory
Additional step: Take your dad's mp3 player from the 2000s to make it sound even more kvlt.
"Your dad's mp3" I'm felling older and with even less hair that really have, thanks
@@pyetromammoccio @Farvann don't worry dudes we all will get there
holy shit this is so raw i miss this look of videos 😭
The part of copying the music on 10 cassettes, giving them to your friends, and publishing on bandcamp "limited to 10 copies because it is cult" is missing.
*produced in _______ then reformatted onto ten cassettes in ______. One cassette for each of the four members of the band, the rest for sale to the general public at live shows, half of which were damaged during shipping to _______.
Also, it featured five songs which were recorded onto one side of the cassette only, leaving the other side seemingly _____ when played.
What the hell man! When you whippes out the guitar pro drums I was left in utter disbelief that was only topped by the whispering vocals but man... the end result 😂 I cannot believe it
Sounds like MELODIC raw black metal to me, great riffing btw
oh yes, good old how to make videos from Farvann. I love this column, keep up the good work, we love you. P.S. the riffs are mind-blowing as always
I can't understand if you were completely wasted while making this video or if you were completely sober. Either way I'm satisfied. Felt as if very oldschool Farvann was filmed by experienced Farvann
That second part and that riff was frickin awesome
Farvann is TOASTED as hell for this one!
Finally a New Farvann Video ! Keep upo the work my friend
This is one of the most creative videos on your channel
as someone who has been playing black/folk and death for the past 25 past years I gotta say that you are pretty accurate :P
although... I never "whispered" into the mic while doing the vocals since it wouldnt work during live gigs
This video Farvann was all over the place! Crazy montage [in a good way]🔥
Ironically, the best raw BM ive heard in the last decade is Hadanfard
The rawest BM tutorial ever🦝🐼🐄🦓🎸🍺🤘🔥 but then again, the metronome... 😂 great tutorial👍
That riff sounds like Borknagar - The Dawn of the End.
🤘
I'd never heard of atmosphere spray till yesterday
8:05 that's the COLDEST shit i've heard this year 🥶🥶🥶
That Zoom recorder is pretty much the Abby Road studios of black metal recording techniques.
i feel like farvaan was drunk while he was making this
Awesome video in a very wholesome quality! Same for the song! ;P 👍
Ngl, this was awesome. Definitely needs to be put on spotify, i mean ... no... that wouldn't be kvlt
YOU JUST MAKE MY DAY!!!! "I hope I can remember a riff" End of story 😁🤘
Damn son, that's some premium raw black metal!
Love the song
Agree
Well, if I don't really like to write music with vocals, so I think RAW black metal might be a good choice for me. Can I just add some distorted noise instead of vocals? I suppose so.
Old school Farvann, i love it🤌🤘
Every time....
Every time I watch these "how to make" videos I think it will be shit... But they end up being honestly pretty bloody good!
On another note, I am growing a beard and like your beard.
Love your videos man, keep it up!!
farvann really on the hooch for this one
It's Catamenia - Dreams of Winterland just a raw and shorter version of it
Haha pretty spot on, actually sounds pretty good, bravo.
Last riff reminded me of Forgotten Woods
You have to tell your drummer to use RSE, hi hat bleed is kinda serious there. The guitars sounded way better than anticipated 😆
10/10 would buy with discount on bandcamp friday
My favourite subgenre of black metal beside depressive and atmospheric
Farvann loves Sign of an open eye so much :3
The whispering works so good! I'm a woman and NOT a singer but making black metal iterests me so much. I'm also very shy with using my voice and I live too close to other people to be able to practice screaming and such. 😅 I have to test the whispering, I just need a shitty mic and recorder.
Finally some trve kvlt guide for this!
Cool
My internet was messing up real bad during this entire video.. it played fine but the quality was so bad, so pixilated…. It helped set the tone 😂😂😂
I put it on 144p on purpose to really give that raw experience
@@Hxrii love that 😂
This guy was much better before he became mainstream.
@@Farvann don't worry, it was just a black metal fans response to most things. I liked (insert band/person) before they became so mainstream.
I really recommend checking out Nightspell's new (and first) EP 'Darkwoods Enchantment' if you like that old school raw BM... I just listened to it and I'm blown away! 🤘
Hahhahahahahahaha!!! Pretty sweet riffs gotta say, you forgot the white noise machine and to put the mic 10 feet away to get more room echo too 🤣
Wow! Really nice old-school video
ok make a song with that beercan as drums pls now i need to hear it!
nice video :D
I did basically the same thing some time ago, but with a 2€ lav mic. When split?
Mega unterhaltsam und zugleich perfekt dargestellt. Hab nur wegen den „Hilfsmittel“ gescheckt das du Deutscher bist.
Beste Grüße
Das Riff ab 9:02min Klingt sehr geil !
I realized that this sound like bloody keep
Brooo it does
1:14 as a solo black metal artist that nobody listens to I feel attacked
That first riff really hit the spot.
A hilarious process led to an awesome result. Should I be ashamed if I really liked it?😆😅
Good song. Looking forward to the release. Oh, this was the release?
Can u also make a medium rare black metal lesson
Nah go well done 👍 😂
Can i use some of these riffs for MY own black metal project?
all the old stuff i wrote was pure shit until i watched this. thank you
MATE LOVE YOUR CONTENT....!!! EPIC!!!
I guess I'm gonna use it. Thanks!
Now run it all through a cassette recorder then mic up the cassette recorder to get it back into the computer (repeat more than once for extra kvltness)
I just showed this to my little cousins who have no idea what black metal is and watched the whole video and said, ‘’He looks like a nice guy.’’
Genuine question, ANY sound engeneering? no EQ or anything at all?
Best metal video ever
That was sooo funny :D thx man
“See now we’re all in the mood to make some black metal nobody’s going to listen to” Well said XD
i did not know i needed this
@Farvann ‘See: now we’re all in the mood to make black metal nobody´s going to listen to’ 😊
Always so funny Farvann! Thank you so much for your videos.
N.B: By the way, you are a wonderful tutor. I say that without playing myself any instrument (apart from singing in a choir).
I love you Farvann
Video muito bom painho
Hello. I have liked, commented, and subscribed for more great black metal content. Thank you.
So much fun😂
Thank you
Hey farvann. Can you Reccomend me some raw black metal bands? The Spotify playlists are goofy.
looking up the black metal tag combined with the "raw" or "lo-fi" descriptor gives you tons of quality bands on RateYourMusic. Lots of sick lists on there too
Sounds good I feel like i was in the Carpathian forest 🤘👹☠️🤟
You are a funny guy.
Love it😉
(not so) pro tip: if youre using a strat or a guitar with a non locking trem, fuck around with the bar until youre flat a bit or sharp a bit
Cool video man, may I ask what software was that you made the drum track with?
The riff from 2:10 sounds a lot with viking metal.
wow man, check the Кистень band from russia i'ts really fucking good and so raw
That’s I call raw black metal for real
Кистень is fucking awesome raw band. I love this guys
Come on xD I never imagine that a whisper could save all my recordings hahaha
oh man the good old GP!
Servus Farvann.
Inadvertently your best song… perhaps! 🤔😇🤣😂
9:12 human serpent be like
