Oh Jen, did you hit the nail on the head with me today! We have had a lot going on and I lost my dog, my best friend, my emotional support companion for 15 1/2 years. I have been questioning if I’m doing the right thing reselling. Then today, I was Blessed with a nice sale. It gives me hope. So yes, one day at a time for me right now. So today, I drafted some listings. I did my mailing, and I’m babysitting my grandkids. Small sales add up, bread and butter! See you tomorrow

I just started reselling a couple months ago and some weeks have definitely been slower than others especially during the summer. Today I did some thrifting and I also went and got a massage. I've been dealing with a lot of tension in my shoulders and back so the massage was much needed

I was down and out in June as well and haven’t listed in a few days. Are we related? Heading out to an annual community sale tomorrow. 70 miles! Created my first sale in my store in hopes of a jumpstart. And have been working on drafts to begin again Sunday. Tonight, my feet are up and I’m relaxing. I appreciate your encouragement, Jenn. It’s so easy to get down on myself for my failures. But tomorrow is a new day. 😊

I know we have two different selling platforms but I’m encouraged by what you’re doing. My goal is 10 items a day which is the limit for my venue. I fall short but …. I make what I work for. I’m working toward funding a trip this fall! Goals!!!

Thanks for the pep talk! Summer slow down is real! Over here I took the day off my real job and drive to the closet urban centre and picked up my online auction goodies from a tv series that ended. Super excited about it. Here in Canada we really have to find unique ways to source. This one is a new one for me but after looking at the items I will do it again and again and again. Now to get them listed and make that money!

@@JenntheReSeller men’s high end suits, like new athletic shoes, nwt women’s denim, and a closet full of men’s high end coats. Vintage levi jean jacket. It was a great score. Excited to have found this. We shall see. I also recently stumbled into a garage sale where a woman had a bag “addiction” and was selling them so sold me all her coach and MK for cheap, all new with tags. They are outliers but have really helped my sales for summer.

Yeah, everyone's situations can vary so much. There are no two reselling businesses that would look exactly the same. We all have to do the best with what we have available and have knowledge in.

Great question! I do not use one. I hang my items on a hanger. Funny enough, I have a mannequin of sorts in my attic that I found in a storage unit. I really need to get rid of that because I won't ever use it.
