Only took the FBI 18 years to “begin” to look for a missing person. This is supposed to be the world’s pre-eminent law enforcement body. Seems like their reputation may be vastly overstated. Not very good.
The FBI does not get involved in missing persons cases unless foul play is suspected. In most cases the local law enforcement is the ones who calls them in. So lay blame where it should go. Local law enforcement.
@@leahwhiteley5164 But they do get involved when there is evidence of police malfeasance. A young woman went missing 18 years ago and the local cops and ADA have been ambivalent at best from the get go. Also, there have been a number of young women (Such as Molly Bish) that have gone missing in a relatively confined area in New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts during the past 20 years. Certainly that qualifies for FBI involvement.
@@waynekeebler6755 I agree but normally they have to suspect some type of foul play.
Just NOW?!? I remember the Episode of "Disappeared" featuring her case. Her father just broke my heart! 😔
The key is witness A stating she saw 001 on scene.
It's sad but most missing persons cases in today's era don't cont home but in a box sad cause I've seen this before
A man named Ryan Robison searched the Red Cedar River by Michigan State and found Brendan Santo’s body submerged under water a couple days ago. Around Jan 21st
We can only hope and pray that it doesn't take the FBI 18 years to realize that this young man has also gone missing!!!!
I attended gvsu 20 yrs ago. It's a dangerous campus. I used to give kids rides so they didn't walk alone at night.
Dangerous?
He wasn’t at GVSU when he went missing; he was with friends at MSU.
18 years too late.
Didn't they say they found bones they thought might be hers recently???? 🤔 🤔 🤔 Idk weird to me very confusing
Why wasn't that done a long time ago??
Start with her professor
Thanks for the video. I asked some questions on the previous video, but I'll repeat them.
How long between the time the bus driver saw her and called 9-1-1? How long between the time he called 9-1-1 and the time law enforcement arrived?
How much publicity did the disappearance receive at the time? Did anyone else report driving along that road between the time of the accident and the time that law enforcement reached her vehicle? Did anyone else report seeing her with her car or seeing the car but not her? How much traffic would be on that road?
Did the bus driver notice whether she appeared drunk or possibly concussed?
Was there snow cover on the ground? Were there footprints in the snow?
There's am episode on the show disappeared that gives answers to some of your questions
They cover these answers in some of Mauras documentaries all over, but there's curiosity into a guy named Alton something 🤔and I Don't think they found footprints in the snow. ..hope I helped
First impression I get is that she is alive. Like my impression is she wanted to dissappear...idk why.
And I know this sounds crazy....but I will admit it's probably that I'm hopeful.
Brendan Santos body found in River.
I think she ran away. Or tried to and was injured in the snowy woods. 2 car crashes tossed out of a college for shoplifting. It was too much for her.
Ummm no
I will always believe the bus driver took her. Why his property hasn't been thoroughly searched, is baffling.
They didn’t search his property because they knew he didn’t take her. He sat in his bus and watched the entire police presence at the WBC- much of which has been covered up. Obviously the police didn’t want to piss off someone they needed on their side.
@@MQ_eleven It's always the ones you least expect. He had plenty of time to hide her.
@@babygirl1755 Butch Atwood is hardly one that someone 'leasts expects'.... take a deeper dive into the case and you'll start to wonder why LE did this or did that...and DIDN'T do this or do that.

Butch isn't the one. Look into witness A stating she saw 001 at the crash site. Why did police deny this?
The possibility exists Maura Murray wished to disappear and staged the accident as a cover. She had withdrawn money from her account and had driven to New Hampshire to visit some sort of retreat. It would be easy to have an accomplice meet her at the accident scene and the two of them drive away to begin a new life together.
I would like to know if she actually called AAA and when they arrived was she with the vehicle. Why state this and not say what AAA tow truck found?
She couldn’t have called AAA because there wasn’t any phone service in the area of the crash. The car was towed to a local garage and I think it is still there to this day.
@@waynekeebler6755 So she lied to the bus driver when she said she'd called AAA. Thank you.
@@leahwhiteley5164Yep.
@@waynekeebler6755 NHSP have possession of her car at there lot in Concord,NH by the DMV
Actually sounds like she was on her way to meet someone or do something given the way she left. And or maybe someone made her go off the road and then came back for her
Is there any proof of the 911 call ? Did in fact the police or emergencies show up ? How long after the call ?
All police departments record all 911 calls and there is a record of this particular call. I think that the time between the call and a police officer showing up was roughly 15 minutes. Oxygen did a 3 part series on this case and you can probably still find it on line.
Maybe she is living homeless and don’t know who she is.
Or married and having a different life because she could never remember who she was.
What happened to the bones they found a few months ago
They were like 100-200 years old and not related.
@@alexisbendickson3253 probably my missing grandmother
I’m pretty sure i know who actually did this. I’m not gonna say anything because this guy may not have but he also has a family and a nice house. For something that happened 18 years ago ima just let it go but i do remember this case.
Hu? Why? If you know something say something. I think she 2as running away.
Police #fail
Isn't this the one where that weird, fat, and creepy laughing guy uploaded a video on one of the anniversaries of her going missing?
Really? When and where?
