- My three huskies and two cats choose between steak and pancake. It's a tough choice for dogs. But as it turns out, not all dogs prefer to eat steak. And what about cats? Oh, these cute pets have their own way of looking at things.

That was so funny, Yuki just devoured everything in sight, so did Monty but with slightly more chewing, and then we had Olive, who insisted the steak was cut up for her, which was so funny. She really is a picky eater, but so charming and funny with it, but the winner has to be Yuki, for once again hoovering everything up in one go.
Yuki is always a winner when it comes to food 😅
This test proved:
--That two out of three dogs prefer steak with a pancake chaser.
--And one out of three---not so much.
--Cats would rather starve than eat pancakes.
Huskies gotta Husky. For a moment there, I thought Olive might be half-husky. LoL
@@msr1116 That reminds me of a story some time back. A woman tells a person that she is a vegan and so is her cat. "Isn't he healthy for never eating meat or drinking milk"? So the person asks if the cat ever goes outside. "Well he is an inside/outside cat." The person replies "sorry to tell you lady your cat is not vegan.

Interesting different ways to eat pancakes. In USA pancakes are with fresh fruit and whipped cream or maple syrup.
Yuki still has the best appetite. Bat and Belka took the meat as expected. Monte wanted to get to the food quickly
@@gsilver5000 well, I agree about whipped cream or maple syrup 😋 In Russia we prefer - sour cream (sometimes with sugar) or sweet condensed milk, or jam, or honey. It seems to me that Eric and Helen are from the Baltic States (former USSR), so they know about this too) But our Russian pancakes are not at all like in the video (and you can eat them with anything))

I know which one I would pick even though I love pancakes, I agree with the huskies, steak first and then the hot cakes. Olive is so much a princess that you must cut up into pieces, bet she can also find a pea under her bed like my princess. The cats made a good choice too with meat first and leave the rest for the clean up crew.

Dogs, like their wolf ancestors, tend to eat their food in large chunks. Probably to eat as much as possible.
Cats are really selective in food, picky eaters, they restrict themselves - amazing creatures!

It's interesting how cats evolved to be purely carnivores but dogs will eat any of the food groups. Probably because cats are far more skilled at hunting prey, unlike a dog, they are fast enough to catch rodents. Throughout history, dogs have been fed scraps from human meals and crops.
